Samsung SCH-A670

Ever notice that when you recieve a picture message, the pictures isn't full screen and it looks like it's crumpled up a little bit? I wonder why that is? Any one else notice this. I mean it's not a big deal but it is funny!

Does anyone else here notice that there is just a small amount of dust which starte to accumulate under the front caller ID display. It's like you can't get to it yet you want to.

I was wondering whether anyone has any idea about what usb cable and software to get to make my phone connect with my computer.

ok i realize that i've brought this stopic up in the past before but it just happened to me again. You know when you have specialized ringtones for different people in your contacts list do those ringtones every like change for some reason when that particular person calls you on your samsung a 670? I was also just thinking that maybe the change of ringtones has to do with that when you add/delete rintones from your "my tones" folder or something of that nature? I don't know does anyone else ever experience this or haev any feed back for me. Im not complaing so don't get me wrong im just bringing it up. after about 2 1/2 months of using the phone i can honestly say that i love it completely. it works beautifully well.

I currently own the Samsung a670 and stumbled across the LG vx6100 on the Verizon web site. I'm still within my 15 days for trade-in. I have never owned an LG before. I have owned Samsungs in the past and Samsung's upper end just simply reeks quality. The a670 is built like a tank, it just feels good. Sound quality is just okay; I have trouble hearing the person I'm talking to sometimes, and the headphone jack cover is incredibly difficult to open on my phone for some reason and that's frustrating. The a670 also lacks a speakerphone. Other than that, this phone is awesome, probably the best I've owned so far. I am very seriously considering a change to the LG vx6100 though, because speakerphone would be nice to have again and I've heard alot...

How in the world do I enter an underscore (_) when entering email info? Someone please help! 😕

Do you guys know if a new software update will be coming out to correct these problems. If you want complete silent you must manually turn everything off thats crazy. If I want silent i want everything completely silent. Also you can not ingnore a call during call waiting. If you are on the phone already and an incoming call comes in you can not ignore the call whats up with that...just wondering if anyone new about some software updates coming out to correct this??? Thanks

Am I correct in understanding that I can record the OTHER person during a call, but not my end ??? Is there a reason for this ? Wouldn't a duplex recording be better ?

Has anyone been able to send or recieve pictures from other cell phone users? I can only recieve pictures from my e-mail account. Everytime I send out pictures to other users or they send them to me...nothing happens. But then again I have numerous problems with my phone.

Is there really no way to re-program the soft keys to 'mute' so you can press just one key to mute the phone while on a call?

Only way I've found to mute a call that's in progress is to press the left soft key, go into the menu, select in-use, then mute.. very bad design from a safety standpoint if you are driving your car.

when you are setting up the voicemail contact on the sasmsung, how do you do a time pause so that when you call your voicemail from the cell hpone it automocatically enters your password for you?

☹️ I downloaded and installed several ringtones in my phone using eringers and vzwpix.com, but one of them appears to be corrupt. Whenever I try to select it, my phone locks up and restarts. Any ideas on how to clear that tone out? I've tried saving another one over top of it, but I keep getting the message "file already exists. choose another name".

Any help would be appreciated.

I have a new Samsung sch-a670. I have the data cable and s/w (BitPim) that will allow me to read the files on the phone - and, therefore, to download picture files directly rather than paying my cellular provider a ridiculous amount of $$ every time I want to keep an image.

I've been able to download the files, but I haven't been able to open them. I have PhotoShop, as well as other graphics applications.

Does anyone know what kind of files these are, and/or what I'd need to open them?

When i type the word "concert" using t9 on my phone it comes up with "concept". On the t9 website it shows a next button as being the down directional button. This button can be used to choose a different word, but it doesn't work on my phone. How do i choose from different words using t9? If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!

Me and my GF want to get the A670 ... we were shopping around and the cheapest we saw was 2 for $79.99 (w/ 2 yr activation!) .... Wondering how much some of u guys paid for it ? Is the price likely to go down if we wait a while ??

I use T9 quite a bit when texting. I have found NO way to enter new words into the built-in dictionary.

Anyone know of a way to accomplish this?
