if not cdma signal what then?

If this phone losses CDMA signal in the usa, does it switch to GSM service? I ask because I noticed that it does not support analog. Thanks

You won't be able to use it with any GSM network in US.

If there is no CDMA (in the US), you are out of luck. However, Verizon seems to have some pretty good roaming agreements in digital CDMA. Incidentally, it's probably the same in other countries that have CDMA, but I was just in Venzuela and the CDMA was stellar, even in some pretty remote spots.
