samsung a-790 address book problem
When in the address book mode, you CANNOT access the 2nd or 3rd or 4th letter in the book most of the time. After 5 phones, Samsung has duplicated the problem, with NO fix. They say it is a software problem, and the solution is when you want a number, just scroll through the entire book till the name comes up, or type in the letters of the person's name. Any ideas?

Yes, I have the same problem. Most of the time, I cannot enter the 2nd letter. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. Sometimes I can turn off/on and it works. Let me know if you find a fix ([email protected]). I haven't tried to determine if I can flash updated software to the phone.
