LG VX-7000
Please Help!
I have the Motorola v710, and it's a great phone, but the camera sucks!! I bought it about 2 months ago, and want to trade it in for the vx7000, especially the new black one. Is there ANY way I can trade it in for a vx7000 even though I'm passed the 15 days? Also, does this phone have good call quality and does it have built in AIM? Thanks.

Text Messaging Storage figured out!!!!!!
I figured out to store more than 200 txt messages (100 inbox/100 outbox). If you have the old software version t70vxv03, you can set the txt messaging on auto delete, which it won't do and it will actually let u store more text messages than you're supposed to. No more pesky "Inbox 80% full" messages. Enjoy
How to get rid of Verizon Wireless Banner on front...
Does anyone know how to get the Verizon Banner off the front screen? Ive heard people can hack through the phone and get it out...someone please help me...thanks!! And, is it ok to do it?

Does everone's 7000 only hold around 100 txt messages total? One of my friend's 7000 can hold over 100 txt in the inbox and 100 in the outbox. Basically he can hold double the amount of text messages than me. Does anyone else's txt messaging allow you to hold more than 100 total messages?
Recording Your Own RingTones - What's the max ?
I have recorded a fairly long ring tone on my 7000. a very cool feature indeed. any one test the capacity. it seems like you get max about a minute for a recorded ring tone..
question... since about 20 sec's would do.. has anybody tested how many personal ring tones you can have.

LG just said no VX7000a
âšī¸ LG customer service just sent me an e mail saying that there were no plans to produce the VX7000a tri mode version of the VX7000. Here is the text of the e mail I just received from LG:
Dear XXXXX,
Thank you for inquiring of LG Electronics.
LG only manufactures the VX7000 as an all-digital phone. At this time, we do not have plans to release this phone as tri-mode.
Please feel free to contact us in the future if you have any additional questions or concerns. Thank you again for contacting LG Electronics.
Any way to put vx7000 in vibrate mode without opening phone
UP just upgraded from a VX4400 to a VX7000. I love my new phone.
One question...on the VX4400, I was able to cycle through normal, vibrate and silent mode via the "memo" button on the left.
The VX7000 does not appear to have that feature. The only way I can see to put in in vigbrate mode is to open teh phone and press the "*" key for a few seconds.
Is there any way to put the phone in vibrate without opening the phone?

i bought a cd so i can download screen savers and music but it only came with instructions for the 6000 model does anyone know how the instructions for the 7000 model

What is the latest version of the firmware for the LG 7000. Is the software version the same as the firmware version?

vx7000 v. v265 analog a plus?
I have just purchased the moto v265 - not a bad deal but the camera and screen resolution sucks, the thing is that it has great reception. I am considering switching to the LG vx7000 but can't seem to understand if it has analog capabilities or not. It says "plus AMPS 800 on VX-7000A variant". Can anyone offer some advice that would let me believe the vx7000 has great reception? and/or answer my analog question? đ

I have a V710 and was thinking about switching to a 7000. For me reception is the most important thing between these two phones, does anybody know if the 700 will perform as well as the 710 in that area

did the firmware upgrade
I did the firmware upgrade on my '7000
still has that delay on answering a call
I also went to CC and tried the Moto V265
not so impressed either
so I'll keep using my Sung 670 until the new Nokia 6255 comes??

What is the limit for phone book groups?

Love my vx7000. Strange issue thouogh...
I was trying or organize my phone book by assigning each contact a group membership. I am getting the message, "Member list full" whenever I reach 10 contacts in a group.
Is this the limit? I find it hard to believe that LG gives us 500 contact buckets, but only allows groups of 10 members.

transferring pictures on the phone
is there any way to transfer the pics from one phone to another without sending them through vzwpix.com?? the display on my 7000 went out and i wanted to transfer the pics to my new 7000.
