If you go to www.walmart.com

then go to music....when the cd's are listed and you select one of them...it gives the sound track list..with 30 second clips of the song...if you right click on the link instead of clicking it to listen to it...then u are able to save target as....do not save it as an mp3..........in the file name box..you can keep the name already listed but make sure to add ".mid"
this will save the file as a midi sequence!!!

i get a little popping action going on at the top right of the battery near where the recess is. is this normal?

Hello. I recently bought this phone on eBay and am waiting for it to come in the mail. It does not have the user's manual with it, so I am going to need to know how to get to the program menu so my provider can activate this phone. I am not going to be using it under Verizon, I will be using it under Alltel and they do not use this phone, so they will not know how to get to the program menu. If anyone knows this, please help me out. I had to do this with my current phone (Samnsung A610) and I was on the phone with Samsung for a LONG time before I finally gave me the simple instructions 'Menu>Setup>2*' ... so if anyone could help out, that would be great. Got my VX7000 this week at VRZ. Love everything about it except size and that I cannot take pictures in a dark place (flash is pretty useless). Also, I find that while the sound is loud, it is not so clear and what people is saying seems to get distorted. Anyone else have this problem?

ive had the 710 for nearly two weeks now so i need to make a decision as to whether i keep this or not. i absolutely LOVE the speakerphone but am not happy at all with the picture quality indoors or the volume when talking w/o speakerphone. I like the bluetooth ability, but can't afford the wireless headset at the moment. i like the menus, but i dont like the shininess of the phone and it gets very smudgy. can anyone tell me if i would like the 7000 any better? how bout the samsung 670?

Alright, I just bought a VX7000 today and a friend of mine was fooling around with the Create Ringtones. He recorded 6 of them and I dont want them on my phone anymore. How do I delete them? I know it sounds like a dumb question, but I couldn't figure it out.

I got this phone a few days ago. I knew the size prior to buying it, but decided to try it anyways. The phone has good features, good reception, overall a good phone. But I just can not deal with the size. I really thought I could get used to this "brick" phone, but in the end I just couldn't. It's up for sale on ebay, so long vx7000. Back to my lil a670 for now till something better is released.

Does anyone know where I can get a rubber plug for the bottom of my LG 7000. (I dont feel like driving all the way to VZW). I emailed VZW and of course they didnt give me what I had hoped--I asked for a plug--they gave me an email for accessories 😡 . I also emailed LG and they never emailed me back.

Any ideas besides driving all the way to VZW

I just won a 7000 at work here and I'm moving to Oklahoma soon so I'll be dropping VZ coverage and joining the darkside (cingular). If you want to make me an offer on the 7000 If I don't get a good offer by the end of September, I will be posting the phone on ebay.

Does anybody know if there is a way to have the front LCD light turn off when the phone is plugged in and getting charged? I like my room dark when I sleep, and this puppy full bright is actually a lot of light. I figured for conservation sake like when its not plugged in that it would turn off, guess not?

i am sure this question has already been asked but i dont want to look through the 50 pages to find it when sending a pix message or txt message when i try to add a song that i have downloaded from get it now or a pix from wallpaper or my scenes it says vzw.drm is set up for pix object or sound object what does that mean and how can i get rid of it cuz it wont let me send them unless they are already on the phone when i purchased it

When creating custom ringtones, is it possible to delete them? I can't find anywhere on the phone that I can delete the ringtones.

Does anybody know if VZ is offering the 7000A, which is a tri-mode phone, as opposed to the 7000 which is dual-mode? Phone scoop mentions the 7000A variant. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I use VX7000 for almost 2 months now. And found only one major (for me) inconvenience. It has only one vibrate alarm, another words, it does not make any distinction between calls and schedule reminders when the phone is set to vibrate.
My old Motorola v60c had a lot of annoyances, but it had few vibrate settings.
For me it is important because 90% of the time, I have my phone in Vibrate mode.
Any help will be appreciated.

How does it work? You can actually press a button and speak into it to make ringtones or hold it up to a speaker and record the sound? That's kinda kewl. My friend can say "pick up pick up pick up" and it will ring with his voice?

As I travel a lot, I've been looking for compatible stuff for my 7000. Sadly, there is nothing, absolutely nothing, for the 7000 except what generic accessories that might fit any phone. This is true in Seoul, Hong Kong, Scotland, Germany, and Dubai. Not a travel charger, desk charger, phone charger, battery, case of any kind, screen protector, or hands free head set. The latter is no problem as most of your generic head sets will work.

As near as I can tell, the phone has no brother/sister version even in Korea. All, repeat, all LG phones outside the US that I've seen use the cable to charge. None use the little dinky 5V plug.

I only mention this for two reasons. First, it means VZW will pretty much dictate what accessories you...
