LG VX-7000

Does VZW make one because its not on their site. Or does LG make one. Tell me if there are any good leather cases availble. Thanks.

the stock holster that came with the vx7000 phone swivels and is great. however, i was wondering if anyone know where i might find an aftermarket holster, that swivels & is less bulky (i.e. the stock one is made to allow for extended battery and i dont like it since i wont need that battery and it causes phoen to bulge out unnecessarily). Thanks.

LED light, is there any way I can tun it off or adjust to any different kind of situations, like it will turn red when I make phone call, turn purple when I have voice mail?
can I turn LED light to a status light?
Keypad light turns off so quick, can we change it to 15 seconds or 30 seconds?

I just got the VX6000 Data Cable for my VX7000 (I heard it works with both). Anyway, I just downloaded BitPim and when I try to add a ringtone it won't let me. Is the maximum size the ringtone can be 64K?

If anyone can just run through how they use BitPim or anyother program that would be a big help.

Can someone explain to me how this works?

I know this is one of the two current VZW phones that has this option.

Hey all. I just got the VX6000 a week or so ago. Have a few more days left on my 15 day trial from Verizon. I like the phone 1000 times better then the LG 510 that it replaced. But after doing some research I think that the 7000 would be a better phone for me in the long run.
Unfortunatly, I have to use my phone for Internet right now, and I did not have a cable for the 510, so I could not research the phones before hand, went off what the Verizon sales rep said. Talked me out of an Audiovox phone, which I think was a good thing..

Anyways, is the difference in phones worth getting the 7000? The picture (storage) and video capablities sure seems like it could come in handy, but is the quality of video worth anything? Can the video ...

You know how when you turn your phone on and off it displays all the colors? When you get a phone call does it display them all? Mine only changes to about 4 of them, I was just wondering if this was happening to anyone else also.

I just recently upgraded (7/1) to from the VX4400 to the VX7000 and was bummed that I couldn’t transfer the ring tones and graphics I had previously purchased and the Ring tone program Modtones, which is the only one offered on this phone has no variety and the tones just don't sound “right”.
After reading through this site, which is awesome I figured out how to use the BITMPIM program to move the stuff from one phone to the other. Simply send the data from your phone to the BITPIM program. Once you do that, go in to the ring tones (which are already MID format) and do a save as. Once you do that, simply go to www.vzwpix.com and simple email yourself the ring tones. They sound the same as they did on the VX4400 and much better than th...

I bought this phone for my wife last month. I was playing with it and I noticed in the email there was no link for the Yahoo. Is it somewhere else?

I currently have the "slider" phone, just because i needed a cheaper phone at the time, and the design was cool.

I've come just plain tired of this phone and the LG 7000 has really caught my eye...but is it really worth $350?

can u remove or make the time on the outter lcd of the phone smaller?

My ext. screen keeps changing it's contrast. Say I set it at 35 and then close my phone. It looks fine. I give it a few seconds and then it becomes really light, almost like you can't see it.

Is this happening to anyone else's phone?

OK. Ever spec sheet for this phone (including the one on this site) says the LG 7000 has voice memo (up to 4 minutes), yet nowhere in the phone's user guide does it mention it, and I can't find it on the phone or how to operate it. Can anyone clue me in here? Am I missing it, or are the spec sheets wrong?

how can u delete the recorded ringers you do, and how many can u record?

Is there any free .jpg or .gif editing software that is available where I can edit wallpapers so that they fit my phone (for a Windows 98 PC)? I have found some cool files that are either too big or too small for one or both of the phone's screens. I would like to be able to crop an image in order to reduce the file size, but I don't want to have to buy new software if possible.
