LG VX-7000

I understand VZW has a 15 day policy, will they allow you to switch phones, try the second one then switch back again?

I used to have an LG VX4400 which had the capability to end a call by hitting the side button twice. I checked the 7000's manual, and apparently it's supposed work, but isn't. When I hit the side button twice on an incoming call, all it does is quiet the ringer.

The only way to 'end a call' now is to change the setting to answer calls by hitting the 'send button' instead of on 'flip-open'.

I used to use this feature all the time. If it's functioning properly on everybody else's, please let me know.

I hate standing on that tech support line at the Verizon store. 😛

i would love to get this phone,and this website (and others) mention a vx700a variant with amps technology onboard (a trimode 7000!)

does anyone have ANY info on where to get this phone?>-or were these not even made and this is all a typo?

I bought the V710 at radioshack but took it back as I found out that it will be $100 cheaper from verizon next week, I have to pay full retail.. so the V710 from verizon will still be $419.99 + $80.00 for the bluetooth hs.
$500.00 plus tax etc...

the VX 7000 is cool and I think I want to get it. I am also seeing problems with the V710 on that forum.. do you all love the 7000?

It is only $349.99 plus tax, I have a headset that will work with it already..

so is bluetooth really worth the xtra $150.00 taking the chance that the new motorola will be a let down like the past ones. my current lg vx4600 rocks. I am gonna give it to a friend..

Just got one from Verizon yesterday. After reading all of the great reviews, I was thrilled to get my hands on this. While it's a great phone - it has one MAJOR problem. There is a very bright LED on the front that flashes in every disco color you can imagine when there is an incoming call. It *cannot* be shut off. I like to be discrete when in mtg's - Vibrate is my best friend - Now everyone can see that I've got a call coming in. Great phone but simply astounding that this cannot be shut off. I've called VW support, searched the web, the best answer I can find is 'cover it with electrical tape'.

i want to purchase a vx7000 because i dont want to spend the money on an 8000 or wait until it comes out just for ev-do (which i wont use) or streaming (which i wont use much) or speakerphone (which i can manage to live without)...but i have one huge problem...under compare it says the phone does not have the capability of custom ringtones...wtf does that mean? will i not be able to download ringtones from get-it-now? or does it just mean i can't compose my own? or does it mean i just have to use the crappy ringers included with the phone and nothing else? i like how the 6000 lets you customize any ringtones...text message, call, restricted call, etc. etc. please help! thanks

🤭 I know that this has been asked about before. I just got my 7000 today and love it so far. But, was wondering whether there is an easy way to erase/delete a created ringtone. Your help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS

I was using the calendar feature, and was trying to set the alarm, it only goes up to 2 days, has anyone found a way to put in your own time for the alarm to go off, like a week or so before?

I have had my Vx 7000 for 2 days so far. And in comparison with the samsung a670 the camera is MUCH darker indoors even with the flash. For you guys that have the vx 7000 did u notice that also? Another thing i noticed is the colors are slightly different when in camera mode as opposed to video mode, whats with that? Im wondering if my phone has a faulty camera or something.

i have no clue wut tri-mode and everything is about...can someone tell me the difference between the 7000 and 7000a and which is better...

what's the easiest way to access and listen to your voice notes? is there any way to delete recorded ringtones?

Couple Questions I could use some help on.
I charge my phone every night for just in case situations. Is overcharging bad?

I hear alot of talk about Gifs. How can I get one on my phone? Do i need a cable? or is this something I have to pay for? Is there anything free I can get...ringtones? pics?

Does it charge money or airtime when i am searching mytonz..ect?

Currently, BitPim can be used to upload and download files to and from the LG VX7000. You you have been unsuccesful it's because you did not follow certain steps.

-Download BitPim (Version: 0.7.14) and install. Select the 'LG VX6000' as the phone model.

-Obtain a 'Futuredial LG VX6000 datacable. I haven't tried using another cable, so I recommend this one that I'be been using.

Has anyone used the vx6000 data cable for the 7000 as a modem for a laptop.....i just did it and the speed seemed to be faster but the connection speed it had was the same as the vx6000...
