LG VX-7000

the problem with these camera phones is not the resolution but the lense. 640 x 480 is good enough resolution to use for the web and even to print small photos but the lenses on all these camera phones are not good. So just because the v710 has 1.3Mega pixel resolution still doesn't mean it will take better pictures, we will have to see. The other day I found an old sony Mavica camera in the garbage. It used a 1.44MB floppy disk as storage. It stored at its highest resolution 10 pictures on that disk, I took pictures with it and then viewed them on my computer, they were awesome, smaller resolution then 640 x 480 but perfect perfect looking pictures on a computer. is there another way to do it thats better i mean i used to mp3 to midi converter and the end results sound mad bad it sounds so crappy it doesnt sound anything like the real song and there are no words please help me guys thanks

Need help deciding between these two camera phones. With rebates and new every two, the cost to me would be $80 for the 7000 and $0 for the A670. Any opinions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I would like to categorize my contacts...When using "groups can only add up to 10 name per group i.e. "Family" or "Friends possible you may have more then 10 friends or 10 family members? I am aware you can make a "Friends2" ore "Friends3" but that defeats the purpose to scroll for a number.....Any suggestions?

I've had this phone for nearly a week and like it for everything accept for two things. The flashing lights on the front and the fact that the LCD on the front stays on when charging the battery.

Is there anyway to get some animated gifs that could act as a screen saver?

whenever I go onto the web with my phone it comes up with a page titled "VZW with MSN"
But the graphics look different when I see Verison Wireless advertisment of their wap 2.0 it shows a home page with VZW home, how do I get that to be my home page? The graphics look completely different? Does anyone now what I am talking about?

Just got my vx7000 today and it is absolutely amazing. Anyways, I was playing around and while my phone was off, I tapped the Off/Power button and the white led for the camera flashed. Is a defect of sorts or some sort of feature?

Whats up everyone...I currently have Nextel and I was thinking of switching to Verizon, particularly the VX7000. I heard there was no way of legitly using a data cable to transfer the images from your camera to you pc but from what I have read you guys say there is. I know you have talked about it in the past but I'm new and I was wondering if someone can tell me if you can or can't transfer images? and using Verizon software that wont void or screw anyting up internally. Thanks I appreciate it because if you cant transfer images then why bother buying the phone. Who wants to spend $250 on a phone and then .25 everytime you want to send apic. Thanks 😈

if i set up a free (non-VZW) WAP on my 7000, by using a third party IP, will i run the risk of viruses on my phone? or other malfunctions?

I know how to send myself rintones. I just go to http://www.vzwpix.com and send them to my phone or do it through regular email.

But how do I create ringtones? Can I just donwload any midi file from the internet and send it?

And if I have an mp3, I have read in other posts I just change it from .mp3 to .midi, or do I need a program to do that? If so what program?

Might anyone help me getting rid of goofy ringtone that I recored and put on my phone? I can recored em' set em' play em' now I want to get rid of em'. Much appreciated. 😎

has anyone tried to send a FLIX to another 7000 successfully? because it does not work from my 7000 to my v710...and no one i know has a 7000... 😢

hi - i just bought the phone today as well. i love the features but the flashing disco lights on an incoming call are not my style.

does anyone know how to get rid of this? i have a bad feeling that you can't.

I didnt have time at the Verizon store to ask them transfer my phone book so i'm not sure if they can even do it..I hate going to those stores, they have no idea what there doing....

I talked to a retail store manager who I always known to be on top of things and knows what he is doing, and he said that the VX8000 should be out in a matter of weeks! (He also said the price point could be pretty scary 😡 )

Pretty new to the 700. I like it quite a bit. Does anyone know how to change the outer lights? The one that is the flash that flashes when there is a call. oO my 6000 I could change the pattern and such. On this phone I'd like to turn it off. I've been all through the phone and manual as well but to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated Thanks in advance! 🙂
