Is there anyway to change the image/clock on the front LCD?

Well, not completely true... The image in the front LCD can be changed through the "color style" menu. Only one problem: limited choices.

actually, you can extract the image "color styles" and overwrite them with images of your choice, but the process is rather difficult. Mine is just a solid light blue with an orange Motorola symbol in the lower left corner. It's much better than those tacky swirlies in the stock imagery.
