if you look on the a670 info page the FCC ID was given to it July 2003 and it's coming out now. June 2004. Now, if you look at the V710's info page the FCC ID was given to it FEB 2004. so if it was the same time frame it would be out JAN 2005. all I'm saying is this phone is on track and because of this form we're all hyping ourselves up and jumping the gun let's just hope they're twice as fast with the time it takes to get the FCC ID to the time they release it as they were with the a670.

also, the 9900 got it's FCC ID AUG 2003. which would make it also the same timeframe if it came out next month. It doesn't look good for us.

I've got 2 things that will make you feel better.

First, the Blackberry 7750 was approved the FCC on March 19th, 2004 and it's already been out about a month so I wouldn't use the FCC approval date as a gauge.

Second, some of the FCC documents for the V710 are dated in November, 2003. If you actually open up the test documents, you'll see some of them with November, 2003 dates.

I wouldn't use the FCC approval date to determine when Verizon releases the phone.
