Motorola V710

Does anyone know if the leather case for the v710 will have the standard verizon logo on it like all the other new phones or will it have the motorola logo? thanks

If it's taking Verizon so long to test, test, and re-test this phone, does that indicate that it's potentially going to be a loser?

If the phone just won't meet VZ standards does it go back to Moto for a makeover?

On the last call I made to *611, I was told it may be released in August. AND, when I asked about the Audiovox 9900 the rep never even heard of that phone. Neither have many store managers (I've called so often I have to keep disguising my voice, lol)

Back on point, are phones selected for release on a regional basis?

I'm new at playing this waiting game for a decent phone so please pardon me if these are simple-minded questions.

Does this make the 18th or near "tuesdays" more of a possiblity? or is there more steps to release a phone?

Have one sitting in my hand. Very well build. Very solid. I hate the belt clip as it does not swivel...and why did Moto put the speaker at the bottom of the back side of the phone....not a very good place for it. Flash...if you want to call it that, more like a bright ass light, works well. The menu reminds me of the 730 but with anamation. 15 sec video. No speakerphone. Looks like Moto will make a big comeback with this phone. For all who have been waiting for this phone..... it will NOT be out this month. Look for it mid-July at the latest. It will not roll out with VZW's video messaging intro....Samsung 9900 will. This phone will be the third video phone to come (LG VX-7000 second). I know that everyone wants proof...so, for all ...

I've tried to come to this board and give people a little hope that this phone will be in stores soon. I've posted details of the phone that only someone with the phone would know. And its still not enough for you people. You want pictures.... how many pictures have already been posted for this phone? Go to hofo or whatever that other forum is called for your pictures. Next thing you know, you will want me to post the voltage of the damn battery while the phone is on. VZWSales, What page of the manual is that message on? Right now, I have the Kyocera Slider (Se47)...it's a piece of **** compared to the other phones that are out there...I recently got it (2-3 moths ago) and I have a 2yr contract...I think...If I get the v710...am I gonna have 2 pay retail price or am I gonna be able to get an upgrade whatever thing or a mail-in-rebate with the 2yr contract? This is what i summarized so far.
From what i heard from everybody in the forum

Release Date: Sometime in june.
I don't believe they will wait untill July for they know how much we want the phone and if testing is complete like VZWSales said, then the phone should be in the distribution cycle and could possibly come out by next week and above. I can't really see it comeing out any sooner and of course it could come out in july but odds are it won't

15 sec video: Untill proven i still want to believe it will be 3 mins for the phone Clue has is a test unit unless verizon literaly told him it was going to be 15 secs and stay that way.

just a guess, is that all test models have to be back by June 30th. Is that what u wanted CLUE to post? I still believe both CLUE and the guy on HOFO that they have the test models

Instead of telling us stuff like firmware version, which none of can or are willing to verify, put up pictures of the phone with particular emphasis on screen shots, battery case, and of course the side shots which none of have seen very much of.
