After all bad features that V710 has I'm thinking of Nokia 7610?

lets see
1. Bad battery Life
2. Bad internal screen which is 262 k but guy at hofo said V810 has better screen
3. video limited to 15 seconds wtf.
4. Bluetooth no obex support sucks.
5. its not international

Nokia 7610 has everything that one need. Have you seen pictures taken by it. so nice. Video taken by it was pretty impressive and it is not limited up to your memory is full, fully implimented bluetooth, battery life is great, and its trimode international phone. It has 65k screen but its resolution is very nice.

Build quality

Many people on this forum have been toying with the idea of purchasing the 9900, if and when it comes out. Does anyone have any clue regarding the overall build quality and reliability of the Audiovox/Toshiba phones.
Personally from what I have seen in previous genereations of the phone, and compared to the 9950 currently out on Sprint, this flimsy build quality continues to strive. So, my question is, how does the v710 compare to the 9900, the 7000, or thr 670 in terms of overall build quality.
Even thought he v60i is a brick of a phone, it still feels solid.
Any input would be great, but not personal attacks.
Thanks

Father's Day

So...this phone is not coming out before Father's Day? If not, that's stupid sh*t by Verizon. What better gift to give Dad than a feature saturated phone with Verizon.

wow, what a bunch of complete idiots on ebay!!!!!!!

theres a guy selling 2 710s, but says will ship it (in small print at bottom) when phone comes out in july or whenever. I mean, can u imagine these idiots bidding up these 2 phones to almost 700 now. What a ****ing scam. When the phone finally comes out, the guy will walk into his VZW store, pay full retail (399 or so) and ship the phones that sold for god knows how much, and these idiots r bidding still.I should list 10 phones (9900,7000,8000,710 etc) and say Ill ship the day it comes out!!! Hee hee. I dont know what sizzles me more, a guy scamming or the idiots that follow???????

Verizon Wireless's battery phones

I just check all the phones that Verizon Wireless has (not smart phones or PDA phones). The battery that has the most talk time is Samsung SCH-a610, with 240 mins for talk time (4 hours). The rest is less than 4 hours talk time. I think CDMA phones use battery more than GSM phones, cause it's digital and also CDMA phones always search for signal, it means it uses more battery life time

Whatever...

I'm getting whatever comes out first...
The LG VX8000 or the Motorola V710.

I'm tired of waiting... and the V710 will probably get pushed back so far that it'll come out after the VX8000, who knows?

15 sec videos and a batt life of 3/4 day?

F&*# this phone---

The 3 min videos and mp3 player is what made this one worth waiting for (and worth taking the risk of buying a moto compared to a more reliable LG). The user friendly testing word is that the battery life barely gets you through the day (if you're lucky).

Now its back to the standard 15 sec videos.

What's the point of having an mp3 player if an hour of listening is going to result in your battery being drained and ruining an already crappy battery life?

Hopefully these are just problems with the user testing phone and its not at full production specs yet, but i doubt that.

Oh well, sounds like this one isn't living up to the mountains of hype it got....

After Seeing The Pics on Howard Forums.....

I was originally going to go for the v710 without a question. However, after seeing those pictures the size really does look like a problem. Also, the way the v710 seems akwward as well, the v810's front is flat while the v710 is slated. I'm now considering buying the v810 rather than the v710. The phone generally looks better in my opinion. The v710 has speakerphone, bluetooth, and that nice outside display which can show the picture of whose calling, but I'm thinking the size of the phone/battery life may overide the features and make me want the v810. Anyone who has any suggestions/ideas on this please respond. Thanks

phone book question...

does anybody know if this phone allows "grouping" with the phonebook. the main complaint I've seen from the v600 is that the phonebook is hard to manage because motorola doesn't allow you to group contacts and put multiple numbers under one entry...i hope the v710 allows for this. anybody know?

What it's come down to...

It to agree that after seeing the photos on HoFo that the size and battery life might be a problem...and since switching phone carriers isn't an option (Verizon all the way!) I might have to wait for the LG VX8000, I know it might be a long wait but...that's what it's come down to for me...

Motorola V710 or LG VX8000? 😕

Its official...

☚ī¸ The guy on howard fofums, the one with all of the pics and who received the test phone, said that the video recording was limited to 15 seconds...Maybe what the 3 min thing means is that you can store up to 3 minutes of video on the phone. DAMN Y WON'T THIS PHONE COME OUT...IT'S SOOOO FU*CKIN ANNOYING! đŸ‘ŋ đŸ‘ŋ đŸ‘ŋ

Animation?

Do Motorola V600 and V710 support for animated pics?
My friend has Motorola V300 and I downloaded an animated pic to his phone, but the pic did not move.
Does anyone know if animated pics will work with Motorola V600 and V710?
also, my sister has Samsung V205 and she downloaded a lot of cute animated pics and it's so cool for me.

Thanks, Tom

Motorola V-710 Vs Motorola V600

🙂 I have been waiting and I am so excited for the new Motorola V710 but since I compare the V710 and V600. I think the V710 is bigger and uglier. The V710 is like a brick, V600 is smaller and eleganter
I am thinking to switch over to AT&T, but I am concern about the reception of AT&T won't be compared with Verizon Wireless. I have never had any complain about the reception of VZwireless. I used to be a customer of AT&T, T-Mobile and now Verizon. Anywhere I go, I usually check the reception of other wireless phone companies, such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Cingular from my friends, family, and other people. Sometime they are mad at me cause I have a good signal.
I like V600 cause battery is better 5-7 hours for talk time, V710 is ...

battery life

Hey Mike, how many hours for talk time that u had with Motorola V600?
I think from some sources, they says 5-7 hours for talk time of V600, that is another reason that I like V600. My LG VX6000 has 2 hours for talk time and it is so annoying when I am talking to my friends and the battery is low

More Bad News re: V710 Release.

How reliable this is, is questionable. I spoke with a long time friend this AM that works for Verizon. He said he received an e-mail this morning that states the date has been pushed back once again to Mid/End of July. I am seriously thinking of staying with AT&T and switching to GSM and getting the V600.
