verizon marketing .....want feedback

alright heres the way i see it: Verizon being one of / if not the biggest cell phone provider, is not dumb when it comes to marketing. I know they have had a buy one get one deal on the vx6000, before the vx7000 came out, and it was for from what i think about a little over a month.

Now as of a few days ago the samsung a610 camera phone has the same deal. So basically they are trying to push the less desirable phones now, because the newer ones are coming out. I would assume the a610 sale is to push the a670, which they have commercials for.

But it also makes sense because they prob know that so many people want the superior v710, and are trying to get rid of the other camera phones while they still can. This is true especially ...

I wouldn't argue with that...kind of like finding the older milk in the front of the display case in your local supermarket

Just another quick thought, i used to work for a Verizon authorized dealer, and our busiest time by far was mid to late summer, again this was in hoboken, nj a relatively young crowd (early 20's-mid 30's mostly). This is partly because of a few local colleges, and students buying phones in the area where there gonna be for a few years.

But I would imagine summer is best for most areas, schools or not and they are going to release their most advanced phone at the peak selling time. So i would say im hoping for a late july date. wish it were now.
