I think this is one of the best indicators yet of an impending release. The August drawing is on August 16.
I would imagine that the phone would have to have been officially release by then. I can't imagine VZW allowing Moto to give the phone away unless they were confident about the software and such.

Well, they could just change the prize, just like they have changed the headset/speaker promotion date. I haven't read the fine print since I don't live in Chicago anymore, but I can't imagine that there isn't some small type on there that says "prizes subject to change or substitution". 😕
