hmmmm..V710 or I600

I was in a verizon store today...I asked about the infamous V710, of course, they know nothing...so while I was there I played around the I600, a tad wider than the V710 will be, but not as tall. The whole reason I was going to get the V710 was to dump my I700 for a regular pocket pc with bluetooth so that I can check my emails and do work through the web like my I700, but also have the added plus of having a regular phone when I needed it. But as I played with the I600 I figured I can keep my I700 and use the I600 as a secondary phone, the phone can play mp3s at a high bit rate; played a few off of my SD card that were at 192 kbps (something that we do not know if the v710 will be able to do). I can place my own ringtones (WM format..no big...

This forum is total junk.

I spent two weeks travelling. One of my last posts noted how the forum was quickly going to crap. Well, i come back two weeks later, the forum has about 30 more pages NONE of which contain ANY information at all. The forum is still overrun by liars and idiots, and as of lately, political fanatics. If you want the latest information on the V710, you MIGHT have more luck at HoFo... but even then, your best bet is still probably going to be your nearest "Psychic Advisor". The worst part about it, now all of the political idiots are coming out to the woodwork to further tarnish the pages, both here and at HoFo. At least the liars stay on subject...

The phone will be out when you get your email from Motorola.

Start Over

Someone needs to completly clear, erase and or delete this whole forum and start from scratch. There are far to many people posting what seems to me to be total and complete bull$hit. This forum is getting way off of the matter/subject at hand, and that is the V710 and information concerning it's release, price, pro's, con's and other similar information. So if there is any way to clear all this crap and start over - you have my vote.

Thanks 😁

lets crack the code

The verizon phone URLs are as follows
http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller? ... »
where the question marks are a number relating to the phone. The VX7000 is 1564, The treo 600 is 1567, so what comes next? which would probably be the V710. so if your sitting around, and have some ideas. try them out and let us know if you find something.
P.S. if the numbers are different for different area codes let me know
Thanks Good luck 🙂
P.P.S. I do not know the answer or if a number relating to the v710 exists.

released date confirmed

i was talking to my bother over the weekend. he works for verizon wireless. he said he is well aware of the v710 and not to expect the phone to launch until the end of august, around the 24th. Everone is going insane on this forum about this phone. relax people, its not the end of the world, you will have the phone in about 5-6 weeks. In the mean time, worry about other things, like our country overseas battleing a bunch of hooligans.

motorola v710

alright, i have been trying to keep up with this forum and this phone. i check verizon everyday for a new phone to come out. my contract has been up since april and i havent seen anything that has impressed me except for this phone. really all i am looking for in a phone is a good looking small phone with speakerphone and a camera. to me, the audiovox 8900 is bulky and mannish even though it has all the features i am looking for. knowing that this website says the tentative date is july 2004, i would think that the phone would come out the end of july just because that is how marketing works. my phone right now is almost dead, is it worth the wait? and what else should i get?

Registration will tell you..

If you signed up to recieve notification when the phone is available, Motorola will tell you. believe me, they want you to know as soon as possible.

All these people that keep saying the phone will be here Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc. have absolutely no clue what they're doing or just like to watch people squirm when they mention a date. I agree with others here that say once Motorola and VZW know, everyone will know.

This Board PLEASE READ !!

I don't think anyone notice but this v710 message board has gotten so big that phone scoop has decide to stick advertisements in the middle of messages.

Were getting out of hand over this phone 😁 😁

Thinking about getting the Treo 600

Would like some feedback on this. I am strongly considering the Treo over the V710. I only want the V710 because of bluetooth.
