Motorola V710

I have been watching this forum for about the last month or so trying to get some credible info. on when the V710 is going to be released.

Now that you know it is going to be released in August, how long until more crazy rumors are posted on what the actual date in August will be. 😁 Just a thought.

I am amazed there is a site like this, but I think it is humorous and entertaining.

😁 ...ok i work for a vzw retailer and according to my boss/owner we will have the 710 in stock on Fri. You can believe me or not that is your choicest i will say this....he has a good friend that works for Moto, and has had the 710 for 3 months now.....he was one of the testers. 😁

I still say that this phone will be in some of our hands by next Tuesday. I might be wrong on this but not half as wrong as the D heads that were saying that this phone was given the boot by VZW. These people should be banned from this and any other forum.

So does anyone know the real release date for this phone? Thanks in advance.

updated The FCC yesterday approved the Motorola V710, a new tri-mode CDMA phone with integrated Bluetooth for Verizon Wireless. The clamshell-style model sports dual color displays and a camera with flash. A small memory card slot, video messaging, BREW, and "advanced" voice dialing round out the feature set. The FCC documents include photos of the phone with a Verizon logo. The first North American CDMA Bluetooth phone was the Sony Ericsson T608, which has seen only limited production and distribution following Sony Ericsson's exit from the CDMA market. A Motorola spokesperson declined to comment.

Well, the only reason I am one the edge of this one is the problems in the past with Motorola products.
I am so close to getting the VX7000, but really like the analog and speaker phone on the V710.

I was pretty close when all along I said aug/early sept as probable. All these bozos that said either july or cancelled have proved to be wrong. Hey iz all good and hopefully like level said, they flashed it w the latest so in aug when its actually out, it will work. Peace my man and I love John Kerry as much as you do.

WHAT DAY WILL IT BE RELEASED AUG 1ST, 15TH?????

I guess this statement from Motorola's press release is to support Verizon's disabling of the key features of this phone - file transfer by bluetooth or transflash so we'll be forced to use the get-it-now service and pay even more $$$.

Does anyone have an idea what this bad boy is going to cost?

I am jonesing to get one, but I hesitate because it is a new generation and they may not have the bugs worked out.

hey i called moto and they said yes that the phone will be released by verizon but its in its final stage before release so they said and also the phone will be released at the end of july to the end of august and as i said before, before september they said its guarantee this summer and not in the fall as v810 will be released then
