Now that I think about it, first 710 people to register for free accessory sure isnt enough.
I mean cmon.. doesnt that mean that people on the east coast will get it first then? People on the west coast wont even get a chance. and besides 710 people is just so little bit of people. But I guess I have to see the bright side which is that at least they are having a giveaway.

SAR ratings?
Does anyone know what the SAR ratings will be? I keep receiving "corrupted file" messages when I try to open the FCC docs, and the Motorola site doesn't have the info, nor do any of the web sites I've searched. Thanks.

Corporate account questions - vzw employees?
I have a corporate account, do you know if we have access to the phones before they are released, since we have to wait for the phone to be shipped to us etc...?

Bluetooth syncing?
I am sure this has been covered a few times here and a few times over at hofo, but I was never real clear on the answer. Is it going to be possible to sync the phones contacts/calendar through the bluetooth connection? I thought i saw that this is a big NO, but when i read here:

people are on ebay still buying the v710 for $800.00, are people that stupid
one its probley a fraud, and second its coming out full retail for $400.00 or $450.00 in about 2 weeks, heck they can get 2 ????? i just dont understand it????

Man, I am so getting rid of my 3 yr old v60c!
I would have to say that I have been anticipating this phone release since it was introduced at the end of the first quarter! I have a V60c which I have owned for three years. My sweetheart is so offended that I have the phone and how it even still works!
Anyways, I am really excited about purchasing this phone and I hope that everyone is ready for the new MOTO toy!
On a sidebar, I just registered with phonescoop and I would have to say that there are a lot of colorful characters on here with a lot of useful information.

2 Motorola Headsets???
Does anyone know the differences between the Motorola HS810 and HS820 Bluetooth headsets. The 810 goes for 99.99 while the 820 is 79.99. I cant imagine that they have the same features when the new 820 is cheaper.

Per Moto's Site: The hs810 has a foldable mic is blutooth 1.1 enabled and you get a few bonuses like a carrying case and a neck stap. Talk time is 5 hrs and standby 100 hrs weighs about 20g
hs820: Bluetooth 1.1 & 1.2, NOT foldable, No carrying case and neck stap, However weighs about 17g and and has a talk time of 6hrs and standby of 100hrs
All in all i would chose the 820 long talktime and is lighter than the 810.

This was the best quarter in many years, despite stiffer competition, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Ed Zander told analysts during a conference call. "We've made great progress, but we want to do more," Zander said.
He praised his employees for delivering most of the expected new phones to providers, including three new ones today to AT&T Wireless, Verizon Wireless and U.S. Cellular.

NOW for some news. I was in Libertyville Il today at Motorola. Got a tour, saw the guys from shop support, got the new stereo headset to test for while, got the final release s/w ....8f installed, saw new phones for the fall and winter, and after all that, I am in Green Bay now and PICTURE MESSAGING DOES NOT WORK UP HERE DAMMIT! So I have sample pics and vidoes that i took(not from MOTO, I was not allowed to take the camera phone in the plant) that many have asked for...
The stereo headset (not fm headset, this plugs right into the top of the phone) ROCKS!!!!
My TransFlash card came into NY today, it is bein...
