VZW Associate Experience
I was visiting one of my local malls, in Nebraska, and a friendly Kiosk Associate helped me out about the phone, he said he has seen it, and held it. I was suprised, so I continued asking about the phone. He said he played with it for 10 mins and said its an awesome phone, the camera is cool and that it has the bluetooth, he says its comprably sized with a nice layout and feel. He is a 3rd tier employee, with experience with the phone. I am very happy about that.

question about upgrade
When you upgrade the contract do you still get the same price as new contracts? I am availabe for my new every 2 in august but my contract runs out in october. How much more could the phone be?

Just checked out moto's accessories page for the v710 have been updated. Keep in mind these items can probably be found cheaper elseware.

OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE
Hello,
Just so you know, I spoke with my assistant director in the customer service department and he was kind enough to give me an inside scoop about the v710. Mr. Beltran informed me that he was just in a pre launch meeting for the V710 and it was mentioned that it will officialy be released on August 1st.
Get ready for the registration cause its coming out!!!!!

IM GETTING SICK AND TIRED OF THIS!
SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE MP3 PLAYER! I POSTED IT AT LEAST 3 TIMES. THE MP3 PLAYER ON THE PHONE. CAN YOU DOWNLOAD MUSIC DIRECTLY FROM THE PHONE, OR DO YOU HAVE TO TRANSFER FILES FROM THE PC TO THE PHONE? ALSO, THE MP3 RINGTONES. ARE THERE THINGS ON GET IT NOW OR SOMETHING CALLED MP3 RINGTONES WHERE THEY PLAY A LITTLE BIT OF A REAL SONG AS A RINGTONE? OR DO YOU HAVE TO DO FILE TRANSFERING FROM THE PC TO THE PHONE TO DO THIS? Whats better? MOTOROLA HS810 or the HS820 headset?
Anyone know why the HS810 costs more than the HS820 which has better battery life and 1.2 Bluetooth compatibility? Weird, no?

Just an FYI for all the rest of you 'gotta have it now' people...
Motorola is now listing the V710 as a phone in their accessories store (which I think someone else already posted) but the good news is....
They have the 64MB and 128MB Transflash cards (with SD adapters) in stock as well as the previously listed but "coming soon" HS820 Bluetooth headset.
Of course, you can get these cheaper elsewhere, but Motorola lists them as 'in stock' and I would rather pay the few extra bucks than be stuck on backorder somewhere else...
Here is the link. Already ordered mine. I MUST BE PREPARED for the day the V710 hits the ground!!! 😁

Motorola V710 Cancelled...
Just got the scoop on the Motorola V710...
Per Motorla and Verizon Level 2 Customer Service this phone will NOT be released on the Verizon Network... They said something about profitability... And that there are no bugs with this phone... Verizon said they will not release any phone that works once released
They Said Sprint, US Cellular, T-Mobile, Cingular, ATT and Nextel will be releasing the phone with their technologies on August 5th.....

I spoke to our business customer rep and they said the phones were not available at this time. No set date yet. Nice to have the release but where are the phones?

Shack's getting the phone in soon
Hey guys.. I work at a RadioShack and we just got the new flyers in for next month. Guess what's in there? The 710... it's gonna sell for $319.99 with a $70.00 rebate to net it at $249.99!! Well just thought Id let all u guys know ;) have fun with this phone.
