Motorola V710

Does anyone know if the V710 will work with the Acura TL "HandsFreeLink" Bluetooth implementation?

Will it be a "full integration" - will it be able to access your phone #s from your phone?

cmon people. Some days the phone is great and some days there is sumthin wrong with it. Can somebody tell me if its worth getting the v710 or the vx 7000 or the vx8000. Which is a better phone to buy. Give me an exact answer please. Is the v710 a good phone or not. and can somebody take pictures with the v710 and post them up. Tanx

anyone having a problem with the verizon site...for some reason its not loading

I just joined this forum today after reading things in here for this phone (and others) for over a year now. Some of this is good, other stuff is of course a waste of time. To all who have solid information, THANKS!. You have shown that there are reliable and trustworthy people out there. The rest of you need to GET A LIFE!

According to the Motorola site, under the V710 section, you can look at accessories and there is listed the SNN5705 as being the extended battery for the 710. This is the same as the extended battery for the V60 series.

What I don't understand about you people is how you can get so excited about a stupid phone. Is the phone going to get up and go to work for you? Is it going to pay a few of your bills for you? Is it going to pleasure you in bed? How about cook you a nice fancy dinner? NO? Well in that case, there is no reason for you all to get all orgasmic about a DAMN PHONE! I do have to admit though that it is a sweet looking phone, it does have some cool features and I would not mind having it for myself but I most definitely would not get this excited about it. There are tons of other good phones on the market. And, realistically, the average Joe Schmo is not going to use the majority of it's features most of the time anyway: 1) the MP3 player, 2) blu...

personally I found these pics to be very impressive. Enough to make me seriously consider waiting for the release of the 8000. I wonder how the quality of the 710 pics will stack up to the CDD of the 8000

Can anyone tell me if the batteries and chargers from the v60i will work with the v710?

Can any Verizon rep tell me how to handle contract/pricing on the V710. I am currently in the middle of a 2 year extension on my contract (I bought the Audiovox 8900 last August and don't like it), and I am not eligible under the "Every two" plan to get another new phone until next August (2005). I have been a loyal and steady Verizon customer since Verizon's inception and I know from a previous encounter with a Verizon manager that I am rated in the top 10% of desirable customers. So when they tell me I have to pay $500 or so for the phone since I am in the middle of my contract, how do I get them to give me the rebate and the two-year signing credit (I am willing to sign on for another 2 years)?

Just now while working at a mall kiosk near Atlanta, I just had a V710 box of goodies delivered (a launch kit)! 😲 It even included a dummy phone. Wow what an unexpected surprise. As an exclusive agent for verizon we get the new phones the same time they do, but never dummy phones. we have real ones in the display case. The kit included pocket guides, spec sheets, and training guides.

The phone looks nice but does not blow you away. It is roughly the same size as the 7000, slightly wider and slighly thiner. Main screen size is slightly larger. I think the 7000 has more style, but you moto heads should love it.

why are ringtones not avail @ places like 3gupload for the vz. phones they are avail for the other companys for free? thanks my co. is or has except me from sprint to vz.

I have a VX6000 right now, and I am planning on getting the v710 most likely for full price, and most likely online. This means that I will most likely activate it myself. I remember when I first got the VX6000 they had to change my plan completely to an "All Digital" plan and it was a B**ch cause they screwed my promotions all up and everything. My question is will I HAVE to go in the store to have it activated because I will be going to tri-mode from all digital?
