Motorola V710

check out the pictures of the new gsm motorola v3 on wirelessadvisor.com. wow! its half the size of the v710. paper thin! makes me wanna switch to gsm. im definitely signing a 1 year deal with the v710. by next year itll be a dinosaur. oh well, thats how it always goes! that v3 is hott though!!!!~ 🙂

If memory serves me correctly this should be the day that Infomanager should be updated (if it's updated every 2 weeks like I've heard). The last time it was updated was the week of July 12th. Maybe it will be today or later this week.

Just got back, and my rep said verizon finally gave a definite date, she said either August 7th or 8th.

Can some of you give us an idea of which headset is better? Several other questions: Why is the HS 820 cheaper than the 810 when it has more features and newer technology? Why are there no reviews of the 820? The 810 has many excellent reviews out there, i know thats because it has been out for a while but thye 820 has been out for a little while anyway..Actual user input would be appreciated..

well i was going over to radio shack to buy the phone, but just talked to verizon and they said i can get it for promotional pricing on aug. 18th 😁 so i figured i waited this long i can wait 24 more days 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁 😁

I have a question. Still difficult to answer because phone is not out yet but will ask anyway. Is there a setting in the phone where you can force analog or how exactly does it work? One of the main reasons I want this phone other than bluetooth is the fact that it is tri-mode.

During my research, I found the Motorola HS810 and the HS8910. Both look identical. My assumption was that when Moto first released it, they called it the HS8910, and then changed the model number. Both CNET and a British Review site called it the "HS8910".

How many of you actually own or have seen, touched or used this phone? Two? Three? Then why is there so much usless chatter here? 😕

I was wondering if someone who wears glasses can tell me what is the more comfortable headset to wear. The HS810 by motorola or the BT250 by Jabra. I already own a Earwave from Jabra because the headset conforms great, and the volume is great. I bought this before because of the spin-off from the previous BT200, for my moto t720.

Comfort being my first priority, then sound quality, and added features.

Is there some things the HS810 can do with the V710 that the BT250 can't.

I sell the HS10 at work, and can't seem to get it to fit comfortably with my glasses on, or off.


Also what does the BT250 contain

anything like the HS810 which comes with a carrying pouch/clip, ac charger, and neck lanyard.

I'm a VZW Sales Rep. I got this info from one of my techs would held a meeting about new phones coming out. He told me that the 710 has a real problem with its blue tooth capabilities. He said it has a problem syning with other blue tooth items such as headsets and you have to keep resetting the syncs up ever 2 weeks or so. He also said that the blue tooth was designed to only sync with other Motorola items and WILL NOT WORK with car stereo like those found in Acura and BMW. This is the info I got for him. He said it is definatly worth waiting for the LG 8000 and Audiovox 9900. This is the info he told me. Just though I'd pass it on.
