just out of curiosity, do any of you know how the people who sell the v710 on ebay get them?? how are they able to get them before the phone is out?

Very few of the guys selling on Ebay actually have them. If they are legit auctions, they are the testers out, with all the bugs and flaws that have caused the phone to be delayed in the first place.
Other sellers are auctioning off spots to provide the phone when it is officially released. They are basically using the phones hype and delay to profit substantially, using the demand of an unreleased phone drive up the price.
You are better off just waiting like everyone else.
