Motorola V710
SANDISK Transflash does NOT come with Adapter (just spoke w/ them)
I just spoke with Level 2 tech support at Sandisk...
Their 128 Transflash card DOES NOT come with the SD adapter.
As a matter of fact - they don't even make an SD adapter - but may come out with one in the fall.
So - at this point - if you want the SD adapter for the transflash card - you will have to get it from Motorola. However, I'd still recommend getting the Sandisk card from amazon or buy.com, as it is a fraction of the price of the Motorola advertised transflash card.
More importantly - does it matter that the Sandisk card doesn't come with the adapter???
I plan on using this card for additional storage on the phone - but plan on transferring files via bluetoo...

1.) A Transflash card and an SD card.
2.) The SD card is from SanDisk.
3.) The SD card has the word 'adapter' on it.
So, either SanDisk's reps are stupid, or I am just "special."
I appologize for the quality of the pic, I took it with my VX6000.

SanDisk 128 MB Transflash Memory Card
Other products by SanDisk
Price: $33.99
Features:
128 MB Capacity
Works in Transflash enabled devices
Adapter included
The adapter is also shown on the verizon site
The T-Flash HAS an adaptor. They make it. People have purchased them, and are using them.
The phone DOES NOT come with a T-Flash. Not of ANY size.
SO far, nobody has been able to transfer files via Bluetooth. Unless it's a last-minute mod, or can be hacked later, don't count on doing it.
Haven't you been reading. The bluetooth is crippled. You will not be able to transfer file via bluetooth. We don't even know yet if we can transfer them via transflash. There are reports out that you can't. I can't wait for the backlash from users when they get this phone and it dosen't do what they want it to. There are going to be alot of returns. Also I do not believe that this phone is going to work properly with the cars that are equipped with bluetooth. Most of these cars require the phonebook to be transferred via bluetooth which I don't think is going to be possible. I would expect the angry letters and backlash to verizon will cause them to address this at some point in time just dont expect anything for at least 6 months......

That is SOOOO diappointing... the guy put me on hold - went to Level 2 support - and came back with a DEFINITIVE answer!!! What an idiot - I could not have been more clear about my question - I even restated it and clarified it for him.
Apologies all around - I guess it just goes to show that you can't believe what you hear - even from the venodor themselves.
So - now that I seem to have been misinformed - can somebody tell me:
Will the TF card I ordered from Buy.com for $31.55 come with with the adapter? Is it an automatic bundle? Sandisk's website mentions nothing about it, nor does buy.com. Who...

It came exactly with what you see in the pic. The plastic case actually had a slot to hold the trashflash and the adapter in one nice little case.
As far as if that is a fabricated pic, I will get my real digi-cam later and snap a better quality pic. I just did it as something quick and dirty.

That is the same MFG part number as the one listed on buy.com - so I'm going to assume that mine will come with the SD adapter too.
Unbelievable that the Sandisk people don't even know their own product...
but then again - the guy did mention to me that is was the first tech support call they had ever rec'd for the TF card (I suppose nobody can call for tech support on a product they can't use yet).
but what is the adapter for? for transferring files from the phone to your computer/pda??
there are more than 1 way to transfer these files? (adapter and bluetooth?)
what is required for each one to work? Im assuming the transflash adapter plugs right into your computer? how do you do it with bluetooth?
I could be totally off, help me learn what this is, PLEASE 😁 😁
Thanks!

The adaptor allows you to stick the Transflash into any card reader designed for an SD Card. Most SD readers are connected to the computer via a USB connection (Use a USB 2 device if you need to buy one... It will speed things up)
It allows you to transfer files...
