It list the prizes that they are giving away for the Spot the "M" contest and the v710 is one of them starting august. Before that they are giving out v600's

if people have already got this phone the its gotta be coming out soon. i think itll go on sale next week everywhere and if it doesnt then verizon is holding back on selling them...in the article last week it said that thousands had been shipped out, it does not take 3 weeks for stores to get the phones once they have been shipped. i dont even know why i care because i have to wait for the 12th to get my new every two anyways. i just cant wait to get to phone so i stop coming here to check up on new info.

The more I think about it, there are no photos of this photo not produced by motorola, or am I missing something. I honestly want to see what it really is size wise and what its new camera can do. Anyone with a clue on where i could find this stuff?

Wut do u think of it. Wud u rather get the vx 7000 or the vx 8000 or keep this. Also do u know if radio shack has any discounts to lower the price just like verizon has 2 every two.

Ohh well guess RS got upset with all the calls wanting to buy this phone so they removed all the info from their web site....i myself am tired of motorola draging this release out for so long. But i'm still going to wait for the phone cause it is the best phone for my needs but geez..motorola, come on already release it...i know many people who got fed up waiting and moved on to other phones or carriers..i'm sure motorola wanted to hype it up big time but over hyping and not releasing the phone makes people more mad and worst of all motorola loses sales.

If u get the phone from radio shack. Its goona be 250 after rebate and everthing. How much wud it be at verizon with everything including the new every two thing.

Ok, here it is short and sweet. I have never used bluetooth and this phone will be my first go at it. If I have the handsfree speaker in my car and get out and take my phone is it possible to continue conversation from phone? Does it happen automatically? and on the flipside on the phone and get in can you start using the bluetooth speaker automatically. how does it work/sync. Thanks

For those who don't know, you can now download the "official" v710 manual from Motorola's web site. You get the PDF file in both English and Spanish. No more guessing at how to make this great phone do stuff. It is now in black and white with NO 'draft' in the background of each page.

Many of those who have send early reports on the v710 functionality are finding it impossible to get mp3 files transferred between phone and PC. Same for videos, pix.

While we won't know true functionality till we see the phone demo'd, read the final manuals etc, I'm getting a feeling that Moto/Verizon
may be "false advertising"... hey you got a phone that handles music, videos, etc but you have to buy stuff from Apple, subscribe to "get it now, etc, in order to actually use these features....

Questions to ask when you go to your dealer -
how do I get my tunes onto the phone?Cable, bluetooth, Trasflash card, none of above?
How to I get those great hi res shots/videos to be seen? Can I xfer them to my PC or do I have to subscribe to ...

Does this mean that there IS a way to transfer files via Bluetooth?

Is this manual been approved by Verizon as representing the functionality of the phone?

SO shud i wait till 11th for the phone. Or shud i pick it up fri. I jus want to know if the phone will be diff from the ones coming to the verizon store.

Ok, so we all know by now there is a $70 MIR.

But my question is what is the stipulation to get this rebate.

Is it like the t720 where there is a trade-in-rebate, where I have to send my old phone in to get that.

Is it only for new customers.

Is it for 1 year contracts, upgrades 1 or 2yr, or unactivated puchases.

If you have seen the form, please post the details here, chances are it will be out in a couple of days anyways. If you have a link that would be even better.

Nowhere in the official documents posted today does it mention mp3 or any music possiblities. I am really confused. What happened?

Can we get more info on these problems?
