Motorola V710

Now what really sux is that Radio Shack released this phone close to 2 weeks prior to Verizon, which means anyone that is waiting to go directly through their Verizon dealer is going to miss out on being one of the first 710 to register their phone on Moto's website.
Kinda not fair to the general public that they would do something like this.

Is there any reason that I should NOT buy my 710 from radio shack instead of the Verizon Wireless store?
(phone quality, warranties, etc)

Did you all pay just 250 for the phones at radio shack today?

I've been reading over the previous posts to avoid asking a duplicate question, but I have not seen this asked. Can Radio Shack honor VZW New Every Two deal or does that have to go through VZW directly? Thanks for your help.

I'm at my RS (Cleveland, OH area) right now -- FEDEX arrived 5 minutes before I did!!!

First, went to the Circuit City in Paramus NJ Tue. to get a copy of Hellboy and thought I would pick up a new head set. NJ just passed a driving/hands free law. Anyway there they were... no not the V710 but the complete line off V710 accessories. The bluetooth headset, the charges and a Motorola branded phone case. Of course no one had any information and could give me no information about when they would get the phones themselfs. This leads me to my second point.

Tuesday I went to Garden State Pkwy Mall in Paramus NJ and Wednesday to Palisades Mall in West Nayak in NY. And I took a look over at the VZW stores of those malls to see if they had the phones or if they had a date when they were coming in. No they did not have the phones an...

I know the phone is capable of recording more than 15 seconds of Video onto the 10MB. Can someone who purchased one already attempt to send a recorded Video that has more than 15 seconds on it? I am just wondering if the Network is able to or not. Thankx

i called a bunch of rs stored sin my area and one had jusr gotten in 2 phones ONE WENT TO YOURS TRYULY the other to the salesman.

Just got the call from RS, both phones are in and I am going to pick them up after work. Will keep everyone informed. Maybe write a quick review tonight.

Just talked to the local Radio Shack... They are getting 2 v710 in at 2pm... He put one on hold for me.

My manager was at a manager's meeting yesterday and while Verizon is set to offer the phone on the 11th, Radioshack will have a week to a week and a half to sell the phone before verizon stores get it. This is a deal that was worked out with radioshack as they are verizon's #1 distributor. My manager thinks that our store will have the phone within the next few days or with our next inventory shipment as he put it. I check the shipping records and we are set to receive our next shipment tommorow( July 29th) and our next shipment after that on Monday(August 1st). So I would imagine that it will be in one of those packages and you should all check with your local radioshack for availability as it is currently available in select stores.

So full retail at RS (before rebates, contract discounts, etc) is $519

And full retail at VZW (before rebates, contract discounts, etc) is $419

Is there normally such a large difference in prices between RS and VZW?

I just picked up by 710 today as it literally came off the delivery truck. so far I love it. My question is with the transflash and bluetooth. are all transflash memory cards the same? Motorola has a 128MB on their website for 69.00 and I found one on the internet for 36.00. the only thing is that there isn't a picture on the website of the cheaper one, should I trust it? Also, I found a BT USB adapter for my laptop on the same website. Does anyone know if these will be compatible with the phone? I really want to use the MP3 player, one of the biggest reasons I got the phone.

Hi, so review the phone. I got an LG VX7000 and wondering if it is worthy to trade it in for the V710. The photos someone took with it here lately do not look any better then the photos the 7000 can take.
External screen: How does it look, does picture ID work on that screen and does the caller id pic take up the whole external screen?

How is the UI: Is it easy and intuitive? Does it seem like it is missing something? Is the phone easy to put in vibrate mode and or silent mode (without any sounds)? How about the phonebook, the calendar.

How is the bluetooth: Does anyone have a Mac and tried to sync the contacts and datebook with iSync?
