Anybody know any RadioShack stores in maryland that are selling the v710. I live in upper marlboro 20772 but i go up to waldorf and laurel and place's like that alot so if ya'll know any stores that are sellin it right now please let me know, and the location and if u could provide a phone number, also if u don't know any stores then do's anybody know when we should be recievin them up here?

I've been watching/admiring/desiring this phone for the past few months 😉. Before I can buy it, however, I have one question:

Can pics/videos be transfered via Bluetooth or USB to a computer.

well talked to verizon and talked them into letting me get the phone early, they said tomorrow!!! is there a down side to getting it from radio shack than verizon???? gotta love verizon they never stop working for me 😁

I have been reading this forum for awhile, and just being fascinated to see so many individuals here wants the "Justice" for VZW, only because RS has the phone first for sale, and how "wrong" and "P**sed".....

Come on! Let's all using some business logic here:

VZW is a service provider, they don't make make profit on the phone unless every phone they sale is under retail price. In fact, they have to commit certain large amount of production to Motorola, just be able to have this phone released on their network. To recover such investment, they need to make sure there are as many as NEW subscribers and existing ones will sign the service on VZW network.

I just bought a new v710 at radio shack in nyc and I'm wondering how you transfer mp3s and stuff to the phone as I can't seem to find anywhere on the phone that mentions it. If anybody knows please let me know. Thanks!

😁 Wow! After waiting for 4 months it's hard to beleive that I finally got it. I called all around and the Radio Shack in Madison was the only one with one left. The put it on hold for me this morning. I picked it up around 1pm today. Its not so big. Am happy with it. I will play with it after work. Am going to try to use it with my HP Pocket Pc Bluetooth PDA. I paid 369.00 because I did a one year plan. They gave me a $ 70.00 dollar rebate form to fillout. Good luck to all. Enjoy your phones. I picked my phone up from radio shack today down by Union Square in NYC. They only had two. I got one. I'm playing with it right now and it is a fantastic phone.

I was up for new every two and got the phone for $349.99 with a one year contract. It was $319.99 with a two year but I didn't want to commit to a phone for that long. They offer the $70 rebate which brings mine to $279.99. With a two year contract that would be $249.99. As far as I can tell that is the same as what Verizon is going to offer.

So far everything works great on it. Calls placed/received, pictures, everything.

Get it at the Shack if you can.

Well that did not take long. I just had a customer come into the VZW store where I work with a V710 with a burnt-out display. The buttons still worked, it could still dial out but the display did not light up. He said he's had it for 1 DAY! The RS where he bought it thru told him to come to a corporate store to get it swapped out. First off, VZW stores normally do not swap out RS or any other agent's phones, especially phones we don't have in stock! I have dealt with some pissed off customers before, but this guy takes the cake.

I got mine today at Radio Shack at lunch. The phone is really fast. Much better than the T720. The menus are very well done, leaving a "ghost" of the wallpaper behind waht you did last. I like that. ie, if you send an email, you will see ghosted text on the screen until the email is sent. My gripes are with the ear piece. The sound is very bad. My V60 sounds much better. MAybe the phone was in analog mode and I didnt know it, not sure, but it shouldn't have been. I am hoping that gets better. Next thing, i have had the tones screw up on me a few times. A "ding-dong" should be a nice round kind of sound. Mine has made more of a "purr" type of sound. I turned off and back on and it worked fine. LAst thing, this phone book rocks. ...

Just picked the last one up at the RS in the Nanuet Mall. For the people that said it was "Huge", I think they were just trying to find something to complain about. The best looking phone I have ever bought. Great build quality. Screen is awesome. Comes with Belt Clip, Charger, CD. $319 - $70 MIR. Awesome. Ported over from Nextel.

Just a simple question about speakerphone for those that know. Can the speaker be used with the flip closed or does the flip have to be opened.
I am pretty sure it was already discussed but damn there's over a hundred pages in this forum so dont give me any grief about it. 😡 If you know please answer, otherwise I would appreciate no answer.
