can the camera be used without opening the phone, and what can the external screen display. holla

Does anyone know if this phone supports streaming mutimedia?

I question why people keep talking about goiong to get the V600 and going to AT&T or Cingular. If GSM was the way to go right now those companies would not be jumping to WCDMA. The technology just isn't where it is and the coverage of these companies still aren't there. There were over 4 million people that went from GSM to Verizon this year, why would you go the wrong way. I just don't get it.

Note the adapter IS included, contrary to a post on this board before. I ordered it with STANDARD shipping from Amazon.com yesterday @ 12:30 and it arrived around 5pm today!

I've learned to not trust any info. regarding the v710 through RS, since i ordered a v710 from the store and found out it was cancelled today...it is probably also untrue that RS is getting a shipment sometime this week, so i urge everyone who is considering the RS route to be very careful, since they like to give out false information 👿

do you guys have a dummy phone in store at this point? or the actual phone?

So like, is it for sure that the Verizon stores are gunna have the V710 by August 3? And how much is it gunna cost? Cuz like im already with Verizon, but my old phone brokea while ago, and I have insurance on it. Also they said I'm able to get an "up-grade" or something. Is there any kind of dis-count I can get on my phone do u think? 😕

besides having a wireless headset, which any phone can have now with an adapter, this phone does nothing special. so im going with a cheaper phone until the really nice phones come out next year. booyah 😎

Since both will go for around $20, which would be a better investment? I assume that with the USB cable you can just shoot data straight from your pc to the phone w/out having to remove the card in the first place.

wait i have a question, the vga camera on the 7000 supposed to be better than the 1.2 megapix on the v710???? or is the MP camera better??? (the largest selling radio shacks will receive 2 phones 2morrow just as an FYI)

Just like others have said, my guy from radioshack called me and told me they are getting only two in and both are for me since I called up and put my name on a list earlier this week. I will keep everyone informed.

My Sprint phone just died and my work is going to get me a Verizon phone, so I've been reading about the bluetooth enabled 710.

My question is... what are the motivations of the rabid fans of this upcoming phone? Why do you want it so bad? What do you plan to do with it? Is it the bluetooth that is the killer feature? If so, is it just for a wireless headset? The camera? How do you plan to use this phone? What is it giving you that another model isn't?

I'd love to hear your answers.

All you ****ers are claiming that certain major Radio Shacks' are holding V710 for you and that they are arriving tomorrow.

This means only one thing.

I must call every Radio Shack in my area until I find one that will be receiving two and camp out for it.

I will report back in 20 minutes.

I'm not sure if this has been asked but do you think Verizon online will get the v710 before the retail stores?

Have read several threads on this.... When buying at full retail - do you receive the $70 rebate? Is it a Moto rebate of VZW rebate?
