My local radio shack will have the phone for sale on Wednesday Aug 4. New Jersey

I know there has been alot of v710's posted/sold on EBay recently. Although, this guy actually look legit and at a good price.

I just got an email cancelling my order stating that it wasn't in stock. I had it for overnight shipping and was suppose to get it tomorrow.

They cancelled it and are giving me a refund. Never again Radio Crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If u go to Radioshack.com and enter either zip 48760 or 48890 to check for availability, the stores listed for those area codes no longer say you can order the phone and receive free delivery but now say call to verify availability. These stores are in Michigan so perhaps the midwest region now has V710's in stock. Im still waiting in NY.... SUX

do any of you know when the ending of that string theory video on motorola's website will be up?

I was just listening to the evening stock report, and something came to mind. I checked the NYSE for some basic information on how VZW was doing lately. Lo and behold, VZW was in somewhat of a downspiraling pattern until the last part of the month when guess what happened, the v710 was announced.
So, all those people who said techno nerds like us dont count, the proof is in the market revenue.

I find it sad that Radio Shack seems much closer to selling this phone than the local Verizon store. I dont even see it on the website yet. What's wrong with this picture? Im still getting the stupid blank stare back at me when I go in and ask the Verizon rep about this phone. Would somebody please inform them the "the secret's" out.

Got it like 2m inutes ago. It was free shipping to my home. Then i got to take to back to the store to get promotional price and rebates and activation! But it will be at my house in 5 days!!! 😁

Hey man first off I just wanna give you props for all the info and updates...second I called my local RS store in Asheville, NC at the Biltmore Square Mall. The guy I spoke to "Tony" said he had 2 in route and should be there to sell on Friday. He thought it was insane for me to be paying $350 for a cell phone but he said he would hold one for me with no obligation. Does this sound legit to ou b/c for me it sounds to good to be true? Also he didnt say anything about that $70 mail in rebate. Do you think that will be available on friday when I pick the phone up? Thanks

A few weeks ago after I read some dumb questions about what the V710 can or cannot do (it's a phone people, no it can't cut the crusts off your bread), I decided to keep track of the really, really dumb ones posted on this forum to compile them and post later.

First time posting. have been lurking for a couple months...

I ordered the phone from 1-800-THE-SHACK yesterday, no problems, for two-day delivery (figuring I'd get it Thursday). Today I got the strangest email confirmation, saying my order had shipped 7/26 IN TWO SEPARATE SHIPMENTS. When I called tonight to findout what theat meant, customer service told me that my order had been cancelled. She said that basically they processed the order, but when they went to actually pull the product, it wasn't there. They woul dbe crediting my credit card.

Now I'm really eager to see if someone gets an actual tracking number.
