Are you having trouble with Mobile PhoneTools?
I picked my phone up today at RadioShack. Very nice people and I got very lucky to get this phone. Anyways, I just downloaded MobilePhone Tools from Motorola's site for $29.00 (I already had the usb cord, don't really need the bluetooth adapter since I have the cord, I just didn't have the softwear) Anyways, I first sync'd up my old phone V60 and got my phonebook, etc. Then I sync'd up my v710 and at first my computer didn't recognize the phone. I kept messing with it, no luck. then I closed the phone while it was still attached to the USB cord. Then all of the sudden it sync'd, etc. So if you are having trouble, did you have you phone open when you were trying to sync? If so, close it and then try? Stupid I know, but now my phonebook i...

Yes someone earlier in the forum said the phone needs to be shut and motorola has software for like 20 something you can down load
