Motorola V710

I have the t720 right now. ANd i hate the way it works. Is the v710 worse or better. Im hearing a lot of complaints. How bad is it. Is the vx 7000 better. Can someone post pictures of the phone and pictures taken with both phones. Im really pissed. And happpy that i didnt get it from radio shack. Please answer.

Hey anyone know how to enlarge the caller id photo on the outside screen. On my vx7000 it uses the whole screen for picture id, on the v710 it is very small. Also anyone know yet if you can change the wallpaper on the outside of the phone. 😕

I know I have to pay alot for this phone. The RS down the street from me has one phone and they are holding it for me till tonight. they said the price for me (full retail in my situation) is $519.99. is that right? or is that more than verizon will be on the 11th. I know it is posted somewhere in here but I have no time to look now. thanks alot. 😁

I'm not a driver so I realize in a car there might be an advantage but is there a real advantage to shelling out $80 for a wireless headset that the battery can run out on you over a wired headset (other than to be cool with the latest tech toy)???

How many recieved and dialed calls does this thing keep? My dialed is up to like 44, and my recieved is 15!

Is the transflash card formatted in a way to be read by windows through an sd drive or do you need special software/drivers?

How much does this cost through RS?

SOOOOO. For the people that have tried out both the V710 and the LG 7000. WHich one is better and why. WHich has a better camera and quality and performance. PLease answer. Or would u wait for the LG 8000 or sumthin else. PLease answer

Hey, like many others on this forum I just picked up my V710 from Radio Shack. I have been very impressed with it so far, earpiece volume has not been a problem, calls have been crystal clear, and the screen just blew me away when I opened the phone for the first time. It is huge and sharp! I want to thank everyone for all of their information that they have shared on this forum. It as consumed my life for a few months, but now maybe I can get back to some more normal functioning. Good luck to everyone still waiting for and looking for this phone!

I have quicklink with all my names from my 530 and want to move them into v710

I'll admit I have not touched one yet but from some of the first impressions I read here, this may not be what I was expecting for a "flagship" handset. Things like low earpiece volume, flaky screens, sub-par camera, plastic-feeling buttons, and Bluetooth issues...

Too bad the User Reviews won't go live until VZW officially releases it because I'd like to see some more of the pro & con lists most reviewers make.

You guys really dig into these things and I can sense the disappointment after day-1. SOme of the problems are user learning curve but the build quality & camera quality turn me away.

Does the battery door feel cheap like the T730/720 model?

Maybe I'll wait for the V265 or just stay with LG and settle for the 7000.

ive seen the lg vx7000's pic quality and its really good and so is the screen.

I just got back from radio shack and i played with the phone (v710). honestly its not up to par of what i expected. i like the v600 better. the v710 feels a has plastic buttons, kinda cheap to be honest. screen isnt great and camera isnt as good as v00 wehn ur looking through the screen. i dont know motorola did another let down. my personal opinion. anyways im still gonna buy the phone but why the hell doesnt verizon have it. RADIO SHAck has it and verizon doesnt thats messed up? i actually heard readio shack had 3 week exclusivity to the phone but i think that was just the guy trying to get me to buy it from him. but i have NE2 anyways this whole situation sux peace

I am having a hard time understand the basic features of this phone. Does it have:

- a "buzz" silent ring?
- a calulator

Any other features I should know about?

If i use the RS credit card and get the extra 10% offwill that void the mail-in rebate? just a little question.

First of all, I bought the phone yesterday at 2pm...haven't been using much for calls in case I need to take it back.

The volume is low for speaker and earpiece -- no different than my old t720. I had been using the Samsung a670 and the volume of the earpiece is so loud at the highest setting, you can almost use it for a speakerphone. Hope this gets fixed by a software upgrade.

The camera is ok. Remember - IT'S A PHONE FIRST!!!! No 1.3 MP regular camera is going to touch a 3.3. (my current sony) or anything else....just deal with it for what it is...quick and easy pics in a pinch, and fun stuff for wallpaper, or phone to phone email (great for pics of my 9month old daughter when I'm on the road for work).
