NEW MOTO EMAIL!! Read it through...
Thank you for contacting Motorola e-mail support. We appreciate your interest in our brand and our products.
Regarding your concern, we are excited about bringing the Motorola V710 and V810 to US market! Motorola is continuously launching new products. When cellular products launch, the timelines are often defined by agreement between Motorola and the phone carrier who will be selling the product on our behalf. Because of this, the dates that we are given are not always specific.
It's our commitment that when we deliver the V710 and V810, they will meet or exceed our customer's expectations. This requires extensive testing of the product by Motorola and Verizon Wireless. We are currentl...

Sprint SE T608 vs. Verizon Motorola V710
End of May, Early June!
Does it ever occur to anybody else.....
I mean, think about it. Every customer support person has a timer on their line and is occasionally penalized for staying on the line longer than others. They, of course, can't just say "No, I don't." and hang up, because that's rude. You might have a talker who presumes that you actually know the date but won't tell them and tries to weedle it out of you, resulting in an unsatisfactory statistic for your manager.

New Phone Question
Here is my situation: I have 2 year contract from last July and I bought the VX-6000 with insurance. The phone is great but I want a phone that records video. I asked the people at the Verizon retail stores and the dealers that are authorized to sell their phones if I could get a new phone when my contract is over a year old and one of them said yes I could all I would have to do is to extend my agreement while the other said no altogether. My questions are that: if "something" were to happen to my phone would I just pay the deductible and get a better updated phone? Or if I just go in to the place when my contrac...

Spoke to a helpful moto cust. service rep today!
"We are not sure of a precise launch date, although we do know it will definitely be released during the first half of 2004."
"The full price of the phone will be somewhere close to $400. Since you have service with Verizon, you can expect to recieve a rebate between $50 and $100."
That clears my personal worries about having to wait all through the summer, and maybe into the fall. Amidst all this speculation, this is the most specific information I've heard in a while. (we're so in the blue that 'first half of 2004' can be considered specific 😉 )
