LG VX-8000

I need help finding software to make ringtones on my mac.
I had golwave for my pc but they dont have a version for mac.
Please HELP

When I sign in to Yahoo on Mobile Web, I have extra user ID's and passwords in the dropdown lists. How can I delete the ones I don't want to use anymore, so they no longer appear in the dropdown lists?

My camera is all blacked out. I went to "white balance" and it was all the way on the black side, but I cant get it over to the white side. its like my buttons dont work but they do when i use my phone regularly. anybody else got a prob like this?

hi, my friend has the lg vx8000 and recently its quit letting her download ringtones. she had about 20 and the memory said that it was full yet 3% was used. she deleted over 5 songs and alot of pictures and it still said full. so she took it too the store and they replaced it since i was under the 1 year warranty. low and behold, the 2nd time the phone only let her download about 14 songs, even after she deleted the preset ringtones and had no pictures. she took it back and they did a "firmware" repair and gave it back to her "fixed". not even out of the parking lot and nothing on the phone is different, still error messages but this time 7% is full. she takes it back and gets another one and we fear that shes going to have the same p...

Whats a good program I can download to cut my songs and convert them to .midi, so i can send them to my phone as ringers

Every video I take is blurry. Is there a setting I can change to clear this up?

Is there a way to transfer the standard ringtones that come on the VX4500 to the VX8000? Any help would certainly be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm in Continental Airlines Arena watching a Devils hockey game and I have full bars on my phone. However when I try to make a call the phone won't connect no matter how many times i dial/redial. It also won't receive any. My brother is with me at the game and he has an older model lg phone with verizon and i ask him to make a call to see if it's just me. He's able to make/receive calls. So i tell him to call my phone and my phone does not ring and he says it goes straight to voicemail. This seems to happen in certain areas..this happening to be East Rutherford. When I get home my phone is working just fine. Anyone else have this kind of problem?

I'm getting blurry pictures in all lighting conditions. What can I adjust to try and fix this?

Does anyone know where I can purchase a cable for the vx8000 that is a straight-through USB cable, preferably from a store such as like Best Buy or something?
I had purchased a cable a while ago and it works to transfer data to/from the phone only - it won't let me use the phone as a modem b/c it's a serial to USB cable (the cable with a little black box in the middle of it). The second cable i purchased from an online store; they displayed the straight through cable but sent me the serial - usb cable instead and aren't returning my e-mails or anything. But I still want a straight-through cable. I've read that a lot of people have purchased these types of cables off of ebay, but i'd rather purchase it from a place where I can physically...

This exact question has been brought up before, I believe the date, from just surfing the forums was around Feb of the start of 05, and his question, which is also my own has been responded to, but I still have the same on going problem. I have just recently come off the Cingular network, to Verizon and the Lgv8k. I love the phone, and the network, with very few simplistic problems, that the Verizon staff haven't been able to help with, save 1.

I'm used to the cingular phone that I upgraded with a year and half ago. It has a function, which allows me to reset monthly, my call timers, be it recieved,sent, and monthly/hourly usage, so each month after billing, I could reset everything and monitor my minutes.

I have use qpst software to transfer data, after rington transfer to my phone, then I open the phone it doesn't show any rington, but it shows "service require". Can any one tell me what's going on and how to fix it

I have a couple of question regarding the firmware update on my vx8000.

1. What's the current version?
2. If I do it, would that erase any of my data such as ringtones and mp3 files that I loaded via cable?

I just send out for my data cable. I was using BitPim for the VX 6000. Can BitPim be used for the 8000 or due I have to use qpst? And if I have to get qpst what site will I find this software?

I am trying to use my VX8000 as a modem, but can't seem to get the driver to be installed properly or something. I can successfully use BitPim with no problem.
I went to the LG website and downloaded and installed the USB modem driver, restarted the computer, plugged the cable into the computer, restarted the phone and everything. If I go into control panel and the add/remove programs, it lists the LG USB modem driver as properly installed and gives me the option to uninstall it. However, the problem is whenever I try to create the new connection, it only lists my computer's internal 56k modem. It never says "LG modem" or anything. But the driver is installed. I've tried this on my laptop and my desktop computer, but both don't disp...

I was wondering if anyone was experiencing a similar problem, Up until recently i was exchanging Pics with a Friend " On a quite frequent basis" This friend happens to be on the Cingular network, " Phone motorola V600"
Lately the picture downloads,... but displays a Yellow ? Bubble Error
