Motorola RAZR V3

My Razr turns on for a sec when I put it on charge but after that it dies. i'm assuming its a battery thing but Ive got no idea what I'm on about. Anyone know any better?

I found 2 motorola v3 razrs in my junk box. No sim cards. How do I do a factory reset on these so I can donate them to charity

I bought a V3-Magenta (da pink one) from T-MOBILE and i need it to be unlocked so i can have my girlfriend use it on the cingular network.. any advice? any info? please help asap..

Does anybody out there have the code to unlock the V3?

Everytime I select text message it selects all capitol letters..when i change it to upper and lower I can complete that message but it defaults back to all capital letters.. anyone know how to solve this??

My razr V3 screen goes dark just after I answer a call and just after I place a call. I cannot find a setting to allow the screen to stay "on" during the call. Any suggestions?

For the last two days I have noted that my 2.5 wek old Razr has been feeling quite warm while both in a generic case and in my pocket...when checked it seems to have been "on" because the battery charge level shows nearly empty despite being less than a couple hours from a full charge over night.

Anyone have this kind of problem? The charger and battery are OEM so not thinking of compatibility issues. Not sure whether to return my phone and DEMAND new (not refurb) at Cingular, or whether to ASK nicely for another battery...a big reason is that I am nearling the 30 time limit for return, and another the phone is essentially unusable in it's current state?

i have a moto razr V3. i deleted some of the data when i overwrote my SIM card entries in the address book. Ive heard moto phone tools can recover that data. But i installed it, plugged in my phone and it said phone not supported. HELP!

Is there free software that I can install on my PC for the sole purpose of downloading all my phonebook entries, both from the SIM card and from the phone's memory? Thanks.

I have a MotoRazr V3c phone.
I got it some weeks ago from a friend. I found when I opened it up, the keyboard lit up instantly, but it was difficult to get the main display lit. I pressed the key indicated in the manual for lighting the display, but it always took a long time to light up. Then on all occasions when I opened the phone and got the display lighting, I was asked for the Pin Number. More recently it became even more difficult to get the display lit. And now it will not light up at all. What could be wrong? Do I need a new battery? Or is it more serious?

Basically, I'm going to Malta on Wednesday, and more importantly I'll also be off to Japan at the end of the month. Does anyone know if the RAZR works in these countries??

Yesterday I took my phone into town to get it unlocked, so I could use other sim cards.

As soon as I got in the car I realised the directional buttons have stopped working, completely. All other buttons work absolutely fine, no lag in response at all.

Any advice? It seems something was altered accidentally when my phone was unlocked.

Also, on a seperate note; I recently bought a usb lead for my V3 in the hope I could transfer files etc. However, once it automatically installs the drivers, I cant seem to access the phone from the computer. Its like its not even plugged in, despite the fact that it charges the phone.
I was hoping I could update the firmware on the phone to perhaps correct the D-pad funcationality problems.

VERY SHORT VIDEO CLIP LENGTH !

Hey there.

Thanks ahead of time if you know any way to increase the duration/video capture time/clip length.

I can only record video w/ audio for 5sec (hi-res)/10sec (lower resolution).

No menu settings seem available for clip length.

I have an original Razr v3.

i was trying to see how many phone numbers i had saved to my phone as opposed to my sim card. so i took my battery and sim out, put an unactivated sim card in, checked my phone book. and put my old sim back in and all my call history deleted and all my text messages with pictures attached to them deleted as well. why is this?

Does anyone know where I can buy $30-$40 razr v3

I want to use my RAZR with a callback service (CallBackWorld) in Europe. Is there any way that I can send the number from my address book without dialing the number as a new call?

(Otherwise you have to write down the number and dial it in manually when the callback prompt asks for it.)

How do I check how much storage I have left in my phone?
