Motorola RAZR V3

you can probably get an unlocked phone from a t-mobile reseller, all the ones in nyc were offering me the razr for a $100 less if i went with t-mobile rather than cingular. most of the features won't work but you'll be able to text message and call people. make sure they don't give you a foreign phone though.

Anybody else have any idea? I read that the bar style version of the razr v3 is a tri-band phone so does that mean it will probably go to T-mobile? If so, does that mean no razr?
