Motorola Razr v3 keys not lit
I am wondering if there is a way to turn the backlight on for my keys so I can make calls when it is dark. The way my phone is now, it only lights the keys up when I turn the phone on, then it shuts off. I read the manual and cant find the way to turn it back on.

I really need help on this, I cant make calls at night without turning a light on to see the keys.. is this phone broken?

Sounds like it, even the back light settings give you 20 seconds before turning off at minimum. Why don't you bring it to your local dealer and see what they say? Good luck, hope it works for you 🙂

Well, when I turn the phone on, the keys light up blue for about ten seconds, then shut off. The rest of the phone works fine, the backlight on the screen works fine, but on all the other phones I have had, when you get ready to make a call, as soon as you push one button, the key pad lit up so you could see it at night. I was wondering if someone on here knew of something I may be missing as far as settings. thanks

I am having the same trouble, backlight worked in the beginning when I turn on, now it is not working at all. Can somebody help? Is it a tech problem or settings issue? Thanks!

I purchased a Razr within the last 2 weeks. I returned my first one because there was no sound at all. I returned my second one because the keypad would not light all of the time-just sometimes. It seemed as if the longer I had it, the more it wouldn't light. The sales rep tried several phones(new ones), and they all did the same thing. Sometimes the keypad lights up, and sometimes it doesn't! The rep tried to tell me I wasn't opening it up hard enough! 🙄 He also said no one else has had the problem but me. There's no rhyme or reason for it. I'm debating whether I should keep this phone or get a different model since I'm still in my 30 day trial. I'm tired of paying for ringtones all over again!!
