Motorola RAZR V3
Spontaneous On/Off; white screen
I've had my Razr V3 since January 2006. I have been generally satisfied with it's reception, battery life and most features. I have had the following problems:
1. during the first 2 weeks the screen developed lots of white spots. Cingular exchanged it for free. Since then the same white spots have started to come back by not severe enough for me to exchange it.
2. However, during the past 2 weeks, the phone has started to turn on and then back on by itself (3-4 time per day). The screen goes white first. This has happened during calls, at the end of calls, and when trying to activate the blue tooth. The Cingular guy said that this problem has started up even on his phone. He suggested regularly removing the battery; tried this, it still has the problem. He also handed by a flyer that has the claim office for Motorola/Cingular on it and said I might consider exchanging the phone for a new on. Great service huh?
Has anyone else had these problems?
