Motorola RAZR V3

Just curious, aside from sending text messages from phone to phone, is there a way for me to be able to communicate with people on my msn with my razr? Thanks for the help.

I created a 400 Kb MP3 ringtone and transfered it to my Razr. But it wont open it saying File format not recognized.

My phone says its MP3 ready.

Anybody have an idea to overcome this?

I tried tranferring an mp3 file to my razr via BT, but it said "file type not recognized". Please help. Thank you.

Common problem, yes, and I do know how to peel off the LCD plastic cover and remove the dust. How do you KEEP IT FROM COMING BACK? Is there some sort of fix to keep it out... im not even sure where it's getting in there from.

I LOVE this phone and it's features, but I am using a siemens A56 and I BARELY use it. But I am moving and might get new contacts and use the RAZR more...should I get this phone? I love everything about it, it's only the factor that I don't use a phone to call that often BUT I might...

Urgent!!!

My RAZR V3 (T-Mobile) came with a 710mAh battery. I noticed that the V3C comes with a 740mAh battery. Has anyone tried the 740mAh battery in the V3? Does the 740mAh offer longer battery life? I checked on Motorola's site, and they list the 740mAh battery as an accessory for the V3, while T-Mobile's site sells the 710mAh.

I installed the mobile phone tools on my PC and it works fine and also identified my razr.

I have some MIDI rintone files on my PC. When I try to transfer those ringtones from PC to RAZR through media explorer, it shows being transfered but doesnt appear on my phone.

Any idea why is this happening or any idea how can I get those ringtones in my phone as I have some pretty cool ringtone files.

which one should i get, I can get them both for free with a new contract and they both come with blue tooth. But which is better?

I got the RAZR last week and I love it. Anybody know how to setup email? I have my own imap server, so I know all that information. What should the ISP settings be though? I have Cingular with media net.

I downloaded some cool ringtones on my phone. But some of them cant be set up as my ringtones. the phone just doesnt play it.

If I try to go in Multimedia-->Sound and then go to the list of ringtones and try to delete those specific ringtones which dont play, nothing happens and the phone just goes back to the menu screen of "sound".

Anyone have the idea how to get through this or why is this happening ?

After transfering several photos to my RAZR when I try to view them on the phone i get a too large to open error. they are all pretty small (56Kb and so). What's the secret?

has anyone tried the cingular applications that you can subscribe to on their website? Some of them look pretty good like sportscast and mobitv...can anyone recommend any of these? thanks

No matter what I do, it seems the inside screen will not stay on for more then 60 seconds.

Basically, the screen goes dim after 20 seconds which is OK cause its saving the battery. Then at 60 seconds, the screen goes dark. I'd really like to have it stay on but short of that, I'd like to have it on for at least 3-5 minute.

Any hints on this? I've played with just about every adjustment to no avail.

Just had a few concerns, and was hoping to get some advice on ways to correct some problems I'm having:

1. The clock (both on the extra display and the internal) seems to not update. For instance, if I end a call at 5:02, the clock will remain at 5:02 until I access some other function of the phone, then it updates. So to know what time it is I have to open a menu then back out of it or the clock will not change. Is this normal?

2. I have a bluetooth headset. I paired the device with my phone and everything was working fine. The next day (after putting both the headset and the phone on their chargers for the evening), I cannot access the headset. When it tries to find it, it says the device cannot be found. As per the i...
