Motorola RAZR V3

I apologize in advance if this question has been answered...
I just bought the v3 and HS810 BT headset...
My first question is if anybody has issues with the phone recognizing thier voice...if I say a person's name...sometimes it dials someone else...should I use more than one syllabul for thier name?

My second question is, is it possible to dictate a phone number to the phone and have it dial that way?

Has anyone else found dust trapped in their screen. I realize that it's not air tight but i now have dust trapped in my screen! It just recently got in there...im scared to try and take the screen off...given i wouldn't know how to if i wanted to

I currently have a cingular v3 razr and am interested in purchasing a black razr v3...In speaking with several dealers in canada, they say their black razr can surf the internet on cingular different version than past euro phones which didnt allow user to add cingular web link...The only problem they say is the euro phone will not allow pic to be trans to other cingular phones except by sending pic in an email instead of easy way sending to a phone #...they say euro version does not put dashes inbetween phn # as us version does...anyone have any ideas how to defeat this problem or any idea when black version avail in us?...motorola will not say if phone will be avail here!

I just bought a Razr and would like to transfer mp3s to it for use as ringtones. I have a bluetooth adapter for my computer. What software would be necessary? Can it be downloaded instead of purchased at retail?

I just signed up with Cingular 2 days ago and got a Razr phone. The phone came unlocked and is not branded as Cingular.

Everything works fine except the screen says I'm using AT&T Wireless and the roaming indicator shows up on the display. My area has been fully converted to Cingular. My friend has a V551 that he got from Cingular and he hasn't see the phone change to any other carrier.

I contacted the store and they told me not to worry about it. It seems as though something is definitely wrong with the phone.

Cingular support didn't have any idea.

I am trying to figure out where to get a RAZR online for the lowest price possible. I would appreciate any info as far as the site itself, service, has anyone had any trouble or any great experiences. I splurged on V80 ($700) last July and it just broke so I need replacement. I refuse, however, to drop $800 on the RAZR at a seedy store in Times Square. Thanks for any info!

Is it possible to change the address book layout? On my old Nokia I change the format the names were displayed in.

Is there a way to create an addr book entry without having a speed dial number setup for it? I hate speed dialing by number and dont want to use it.

I was curious does anyone know how to properly set up the mms and internet for an unlocked razr. I just got the phone, I cant get pictures to work, or consistently ge tthe internet to download ring tones. If anyone can help, that would be greatly appreciated.

I just got my RAZR V3 - I love it! But I'm finding the manual to be pretty unhelpful. I'm using it with a Sony HBH-300 headset - and it works great - but I don't know how to switch between headset and phone? I know to press the call button on the headset to connect and use the headset - but then, when it's connected - even when I dial from the phone, all the sound goes to the headset. Is there a simple (ie: one button?) way to disconnect the headset so I can just whip out the phone and use it sometimes?

Ok This might be a stupid question to some but I saw the black version on T-mobile's UK site, Just wondering if I was to order it would it work with my US T-Mobile SIM card. 🤭

I got handset manager ma8870 version 9, it really surprised me!I can clip MP3 music and upload to my RAZR, and set the MP3 as my ringer! Now I am cool because I have my very own/personal MP3 ringtone! Compare to the PC suite, handset manager's MP3 sound quality is really excellent!
I can also do modifications to my wallpapers or pictures, I can also re-size the pictures that I upload to my PC from my digitial camera...so many unique and great features!
Of course some other great features such as phone book back up, connect to the Internet, charging the phone from PC, calendar alarm and sync....are you a RAZR lover? If you are, you really don't want to miss this nice data tool!

I bought a MA700 Bluetooth data transfer suite for my RAZR. In the beginning,I thought the pair would be hard, however, it was very easy to install and pair.It allowed me to transfer data in between my phone and PC, and also do so many unique things, for example: modify the pictures that I took from the camera and set up as my wallpaper...so many nice and unique features!Oh yeah, this MA700 bluetooth data transfer suite also works with my bluetooth headset, so I can talk to my friends VOIP whenever or wherever I like!Personally,I think it is really an excellent product! 😁

I bought my razor about a month and a half ago and have been very pleased about it. I only have one complaint and it is the wiers white splotches on the sceeen. They show up more in the sun and are not that noticeable in a room, but in the sun it is impossible to see what is on that part of the screen. I only know one other person that has one and she has them too but just not as bad and on the corner of the screen. does any one else have this prob please notify me if u have any idea

How do I set up my voice mail?

When I go to enter my screen name for AIM, the alphabet comes up as selecting oriental style letters.

Help?

I keep hearing that a blue tooth headset is the only type that works with the Razr but I keep seeing standard headsets listed on both Motorola's website and the websites of other suppliers. What gives....can anyone tell me if a standard headset can be used?
