😛 😛 😛 I read somewhere, that the menus on the 815 have changed to a more 'user friendly' type, similar to that of the LG. Can anyone confirm?

You just asked the same question that I was going to post. If that is correct it would have me lean toward buying the E815 over the VX 8100. I am also impressed with the longer battery life of the E815 as well as the improved picture quality over the V710. Hope someone will reply regarding the menu being more user friendly!!!!! That is one great feature in LG phones.

I thought that I posted this one here. guess not. I have also heard that the menu's are a bit different the v710 but they aren't as user friendly as the lg. But, I have also seen some pictures of the phone and it looks like the same menu to me. I guess we won't know unless someone has it replies or if we get the phone.

It should have the same kind of menu that the LG 7000 and 8000 have. This is the new standardized menu that ALL new Verizon phones are to have. I've seen advance test models of Audiovox and Nokia phones with the same menu. This way customers won't have to learn a new phone every time they get an upgrade. The picture I've seen of the E815 has a VCast screen shown and seems to have the same ERI banner as the standardized menu so it most likely will have that system.
