Actual Talk Time

My 815 only lasts for 2 1/2 hours total talk time. I charged it last night from 1030pm to 700am the following morning. Is this the normal battery life?

You have to remember, battery time is dependant on how strong your signal in your area is. If you have full service, your phone's battery will last twice as long as if you're in an area with only 1 or 2 bars. I've noticed this TREMENDOUSLY on my old LG phone. I went to school in the summer in Philadelphia where Verizon is ALL FULL EVERYWHERE. My phone would have to be recharged every 3 or 4 days. When I came home to my house in the middle of the woods, my phone would BARELY make it 2 days without dying out on me.

In short, your 2 and a half hour talk time would probably be 3 and a half hours if you were in a full service area all day. But hey, maybe you're not charging your battery properly? Run it down all the way before charging ...
