OK now This question has been asked many times but here we go again!!!!!!!!

Now that some of you have the phone Is it worth buying the phone this week, Or waiting until all the feature are enabled?

I wouldn't buy a high def TV when there were no high def channels but now that there are many channels I bought one,

Same with the phone, Why do I want all the bells and whistles when they don't work?

All please a little guidance before I make my purchase this week. E815 or 8100?

I bought the e815 last week. I have a few complaints about it. I had an lg 6000 before that. Overall the lg seemed like a brand that was up on technology alot more. The e815 seems a little cheesy. I think all the features work fine from what I can tell. I wish the volume was louder on the bluetooth system. The phone is a little on the big side. And the vibrate feature is very weak. I'm very curious about trading it in on the lg 8100!!

I also have the E815, but I am disappointed with the vibrate feature like you, Plus I'm not happy with the contacts layout. I went to download my contacts all 176 and everyone of them come up with a space for a picture, I went into the program and changed the view to listing which is fine, but when you go into the individual contacts it give a big space above the name as if there should be a picture associated with the contact every one is like that. So I had to go into all 176 contacts and change the picture setting to "none"
That sucked, I should mention that my contacts came from IPHONEBOOK.
Plus IPHONEBOOK only allows you to upload 140 or so contacts directly onto the phone. That is really pitiful, you have a phone that can hold a 10...

I wrote a fairly in depth comparison between the LG VX 8100 and the Motorola E815 yesterday here:

I would highly recommend checking out both phones side by side to see which one works better for you personally. I'm personally VERY happy that I exchanged my E815 for the LG VX8100; it just fits my overall needs better, however you may feel otherwise. If it helps any, make a pro and con list, or perhaps a "top ten features" that are important to you. This way you can make a more informed decision when you're deciding which way to go.

On a side note, a few people have asked which Bluetooth headset I am using? I currently have the Motorola HS850, and it works grea...

let me ask one question about the headset I also use the HS850 The headset works GREAT on motorola phones, meaning when you have an incoming call you hear the beep in your ear, you can answer or hang up a call with the button on the 850. Plus you can close the boom or open it without having the e815 lose the pairing is it the same with the 8100?
