Music stops when any button pressed

I have a 256mb mini sd in my phone and have renamed my mp3's so that they play on my phone.
The only problem is that as soon as I touch ANY button on the phone, the music stops, and you have to start the song all over again. Even if just adjusting the volume.

Anyone else have this problem?

Haven't seen any threads on this when doing a search.

Unfortunately, until you get the software update, this will happen. You cannot close the phone or press ANY button, otherwise they will stop playing.

Are you sure the update will fix this specific problem?
Some are saying the update is crashing their phones here?

Yes, the update will allow you to play it with the phone open, closed, etc. Again, if you don't have the update it will stop by pressing any button because it is not MP3 enabled yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Listen to Mary424. I've been using this forum for a couple of months and Mary424 is definitely credible. I can verify what she said is correct because I have the update and you will have use of the MP3. You will have to leave you phone when you get the update. It took four hours for them to do mine. But the store I took it to didn't have all the latest and greatest equipment. They did backup my info before putting the update on my phone. Be sure they do before they install the update because just reading through the forum it sounds like some people have lost all there data.
