What is Crippled with Cingular Firmware?
I've seen some website that have some way of flashing this phone, but they specifically say that it isn't unlocking. What do I win if I "uncostomize" this phone? Anybody found a way to use the IMEI to unlock this phone?

"09/02/05 | Nokia 6682 flashing is now supported - V3.01.1
Version 3.01.1 is now supported for Nokia 6682. Uncustomization is also avaiable if requested. Unlocking is still not supported at this time but we will announce it when it becomes available.

Voice Dial
Does seem I can activate the "speak now" regular Nokia voice dial from my bluetoth headset. It seems much slower to connect though. Perhaps because of the Voice Signal software.
More 512Mb Memory Observations and Questions
Must be a dual voltage (1.8/3.0) card: DV RS-MMC (same as MMCmobile). This card has twice the number of contacts as the stock card.

I can copy files exceeding 64MB to the card with the file manager. (the file manager sees the 512MB)
The Memory tool on the phone sees the full 512MB after I formatted the card in the phone.
I think the memory l...

Connected via USB and Bluetooth, same results. The Bluetooth isn't a bottleneck. So this is slightly faster than my old 1xRTT connection via SprintPCS Vision. Granted I could have gone with the V-CAST option with Verizon, but those guys cripple their phones WAAAAAY too much.
