Slider key lock?
Does anyone know if the slider locks when the kepbad is in and unlocks when extended - like a flip phone when open or closed? Or does it lock with keystrokes like a candybar.
My husband needs one hand operation and prefers the flip phone for unlocking and answering ease, but it easily slips from his hand when trying to open it - broke the last one that way. Has to carry in an upper pocket or pants pocket so size is an issue, no space for a case to protect it. In my mind a slider and Nokia brand for reliability in our area (other brands drop calls or go into roaming a lot sooner) may be a win/win.

N90 Java Problem!Help Please:(
Hi all.I downloaded various .jar formatted files to my phone and tried to open them;but they didn't react to my attempts.I mean,when I try to open them,nothing happens.They just won't run.There is no problem with .SIS files.Help please☹️ (No one in other forums has had such a problem,I hate being the only one to have a problem☹️ damn)

Blank Screen Nokia N90
I bought a new Nokia N90.I put it for charge it worked fine that night but next morning when i removed the charging , blank screen appeared.I put it for charging and tried to power it on but it's still showing the blank screen.Does anyone let me know what to do , please.
regarding fold closed mode..
hi, just bought a Nokia N90 and currently i'm enjoying it, but what bothers me is that i read on the manual that it will display the track details, volume level, or the title of the music that is playing on the front cover display when the phone is on fold closed mode, but my doesn't, whenever i'm playing music and i close the fold it doesn't display any details described above, it only shows my wall paper, the clock and the signal bar.. i just want to know if your phones do display those volume bars and song details while on the fold close mode while listening to music.. thanks

I want to buy this phone but before I do...how many songs can the N90 hold? I currently have the iPAQ 6515 and with the 1 GB card it holds about 120 of them. Does this phone have a memory card slot?

What happened to the N90 giveaway by Nokia?
I entered the contest in July and even contacted Nokia for a list of winners by mail. I never got a response. Are they still going to give away the phone "when" they make it? Has it been cancelled completely? Apparently, somebody bought one because there are reviews of the phone on this site. 😕
If you have a contest, you can at least tell people if you cancel it, or is that too much to ask? Or, maybe I missed something...

Ok so here it is.
I bought the phone from Ritz camera because it is not offered to employees or anybody through t-mobile.
The camera is excellent for a phone. Using the highest image mode, the pictures turned out excellent when there is sufficient lighting. The flash doesn't really provide enough lighting to reduce pixelization when in incandescent lighting or outside at night. I cannot say terrible things about it, considering it is a camera built into a phone. The video quality is what blew me away. It has superb quality and motion even at the highest settings. I recorded my dog running around the yard and the motion was flawless. The screen quality is amazing, so the pictures taken with the phone look amazing on the actual phone.

A Question for those who own N90s...
Anyone happen to know the frequency range of the speaker that's found in the N90? How well can it replicate treble and bass? Or is it like most other cell phones (a bit tinny to my ear).
The reason I ask is for the following: if the bass response is decent, can you use a low frequence ringtone in place of a vibrate? Sure, it will never be as good as having a real vibrating motor, but maybe it can serve quasi-vibrate mode.

Just got mine from Ritz
My first reaction of the N90 I was like whoa, then I was like whoa this is humungous. Biggest phone I've seen from nokia in person. I had the 7610, 3230, and some other older models and compared to this it is the exact size (length) of the 3230 or 7610 and the width is a little bigger. But other than that wow. This phone is amazing. Go and buy it. It comes with tmobile settings for web and MMS and it has a extra sim card if any of you need it. Awesome phone.
