is there anyways to make my songs my ringtones using the bluetooth or do i have to get the cable

😲 Does anyone know if or how you can turn the missed call tone off? I have people set to a silent ringer so i dont have to talk to them 🤣 , lol and it has that tone everytime i miss there call. CAN IT BE SHUT OFF?????

how many times did this phone get redone? how many times was this phone re-released? how many different versions of this phone are there? i also believe i have im guessing the first model

ok i got the phone and the transflash card got mp3s in fine and all that but, ringtones how do i make the ringtones work since i cant use mp3s as ringtones how do i make it so that i can use my songs as ringtones? please HELP ME 😁

OK i just bought this phone and i dont know how 2 turn off the sound it makes when i zoom in with the camera. how would i do so?

I have access to a wholesale catalog and can but the USB cable for my a950 phone for just $5.49.

My question is can I use this to sync music to my phone or do I need to buy the Music Essentials disk & cable anyways in order to get drivers?

Has anyone figured out how to do this yet?

Okay, I got the phone and pretty happy with it. However, I noticed there are only about 6 ringtones. My old Motorola V60 atleast came with some basic rings and alerts that were useful. How can I easily get some decent ones on my phone?

Easy and free would be good.

I just purchased the phone and I'm having problems with music files.

I'm using the software/USB cable to transfer songs to the phone using Windows Media 10.

The problem is, once the songs are on the phone they're listed and play in alphabetical order.

I tried putting the songs in playlists and then transferring the playlists to the phone but that still didn't help.

Anyone have any ideas?

sorry for the 1000th post on this but i am looking at buying this phone from verizon (they are nazis!) and i want to get the most detailed ultimate answers to getting ringtones without paying for them:

1)i had the audiovox 8940...phone was not customizable, but i could send an email with the ringtone attached and make it a ringtone, no hassles, it stayed there forever...CAN I DO THAT WITH THIS PHONE?

2) if #1 is a NO...can i use that bit-whatever program to make ringtones permanent on the phone...i don't want to reload the ringtones everyday...

3) one other question...if you had to choose between the LG8100 and the samsung a-950, what would you choose...overall and pertaining to this question?

Does anyone know if you can synchronize MS Outlook calendar with the calendar in the a950 phone?

Does anyone know if you can add a software package to get access to Exchange email using Outlook Web Access servers?

If so, how do you do it?

OK, hopefully someone here can clear this up for me....

Upgraded my phone to YK24 to be able to use the ME Kit. Bought the kit ($30) and installed as directed...drivers, WMP10, reboot. Computer sees the phone, WMP10 doesn't see the phone. Plus, in the Get it Now, My Tunes, Sync Music selection, "Not Supported". Verizon NOW tells me that I need $15/month Vcast to use the ME Kit to transfer my music via cable to the phone.
1) Is this true? Or has someone found a way to set this up and convert/transfer MP3's to WMA's on the phone w/o paying $15/month for Vcast service?

2) Does anyone else think this is crap? Spend $30 to transfer my music, NOT download over the air or through the Vcast music store, and STILL need to...

I hope someone out there can help! The IT support staff at Verison have not been able to. I recently purchased the SCH-A950 and wanted to use the mp3 function. I purchased the Music Essentials kit, followed all the directions with installation, but Windows Media Player 10 cannot recognize my phone! My phone easily connects to the computer, and the computer shows that there is new hardware, but the Windows Media Player 10 program continues to say that the device cannot be found. Is there a driver out there that I need so that the program recognizes the phone? Any help would be appreciated!

I just switched from Nextel/Sprint to Verizon and received the A950 today. I'm looking to get a transflash card but noticed that there is a 1 GB version available. I know people have used the 512 with success. Does anyone have experience with the 1 GB card? Will it work? Do you think that there would be a need for that large a card or should I just get the 512.

My girl is away for a week and I want to send an MP3 to her phone.

Is there a way (besides the [email protected]) to email an MP3 to the Samsung 950?

I tried that but it got bounced back for being too big.

Does the 950 accept .zip files? And if so, does it have the ability to unzip them?

OK...I'm going to bite the bullet and get the firmware upgrade on my original A950. Question...can you use WMP10 to transfer MP3's to my transflash and put them on the phone without the cable? Will it automatically convert the MP3's to WMA's on the card? I don't want to convert my entire library to WMA, and I don't want 2 copies of each song on my laptop...just the WMA's on the phone. Does the Music Kit do the on-the-fly conversion, or will WMP10 on my laptop do that with a card reader and the transflash?

i was not a big fan of the red face plate when i got this phone, and now i see that there are new faceplates out there...cheap too (7bucks), but how easy is it to change the face on these phones so its a different color. is there a hidden screw somewhere? thanks!

I can save video to the transflash card, but when i change the memory for the camera to card it gives me this pop up "camera error 42". and if i try to MOVE a pic to the card that is saved on the phone...it says saving to card...then its gone. not on the phone, not on the card. thanks for the help!
