For the people wtih two left feet
Pros:
- Anodized aluminum - can't count how many times i've dropped it on my asphalt driveway or on my hardwood floors. I'll drop my phone on purpose for customers to see how durable it is....if you're clumsy with phones- this is for you.
- speaker - very loud, and mp3s sound sick on it.
- lets face it, its a fashion statement. Although, since i've had the phone since October, im sick of it.
- Bluetooth - can bond it with almost anything
Cons:
- Why make a phone this cool and not put EDGE in it? GPRS connection is lame.
- No video capture another lame feature.
I feel sorry for those suckers that bought the phone at $500...wait, i don't. only smart phones should be priced that high and you're a moron if you bought it at that high price. It's still overpriced. The V551 guts will blow the razrs guts away.
Now that it's $199.99 and everyone and their brother is gonna have one...i need a new phone. Bring on the Nokia N90.

V3 Keypad problems
This phone is crap. Looks well but Ive had 3 faulty ones where the top-left smart key stopped working after 8 days. This MUST be a common fault since 3 have all gone wrong after the same period of time! The earphone is way too quiet and crackles like theres a wasp in it, and the ringtones are crap.
In the end, I took my 3rd back and replaced it with a new Nokia 7610 which is fantastic! Movie editor, is loud, built well, sounds well and is extremely sturdy!
Dont buy the V3 on looks alone, it is one of the poorest phones I have ever had the misfortune to own.

Best Ever
I've had my V3 for a week now, and I can't say enough about it. The display is large and easy to read. The sound quality is amazing. I traded my V600 for this, and it blows it away.
My only complaint (which isn't with the phone) is with Motorola. They made this phone so it's not compatible with the last couple of popular phones (V60's, V600's etc.)so the car chargers, desk chargers etc. can't be used, and if you have a built in car phone, you can't switch it.
Cingular has themselves a winner here.
Pros: Everything
Cons: None

NO APPS
Carrier: AT&T
I can't believe this phone doesn't have more the apps. Also I can't find chargers for this phone anywhere!!!! Motorola needs to show more support to their customers I haven't been treated this badly by a company since the hold times with Enron customer care. Businesses use to stand for something.

Slow phone but it works!
Carrier: AT&T
I haven't used one in months, so I'm just writing from memory. The interface is kind of slow to begin with. But if you're looking for a basic phone that gets the job done, then this is for you.
Pros:
Self-portrait mode
Message shortcut key
And also a WAP browser key
Good sounding polyphonic sound bank
iTAP
Thin for a flip phone
Has a dedicated menu key
Large physical screen size
Cons:
Has more alert tones than ring tones (Don't worry; you can load more via MMS, WAP, OBEX, or Phone Tools)
Storage not expandable
Only GPRS (updated to EDGE on V3i)
Haven't really got to use this phone enough to give a real review but it is what it is.

Compact and Dependable
I'd have to say this was one of the better phones I've had in the past.
Of course the battery life was short, but for it's size, it wasn't a deal breaker for me.
It has a lot for a little phone.
Bluetoothî, a basic, but useful camera with video capture and decent size 2" screen with good resolution.
That all seems expected now, but this phone came out in the mid 2000's and has kept up with the basic phones of today.
The only reason I give it 4ý "scoops" is because it lacks a QWERTY keyboard. So texting can be a chore.
Otherwise, if you keep it charged regularly, it is a very useful phone for basic users.

You were someones somebody with this G phone
Calls Awesome, Battery Awesome, online at that time Awesome, Pictures At that time AWESOME. This phone was the one that got so many people taking nude pics of themselves which made it to MYSPACE. Myspace wouldn't be what it is without this phone for sure

This is the worst phone on the planet!!!
I've had 4 of these phones. The longest it lasted me without it having to be replaced was about 7 or 8 months. This is a great phone if you're only going to have it for a month or two.
pros:
speaker phone is good.
alarm is loud.
cons:
breaks easily
only holds up to 50 pictures
battery cover comes off too much
i can go on and on about the cons.
my suggestion to you is do not buy this phone unless you need a phone for like a month or two.

Good, Not Great
Having had the Motorola RAZR V3 for two years now . . .
My experience with this phone was generally positive for the first year. I had no real problems with it that were not attributable to poor service on T-Mobile's part.
However, after the first year, the phone was increasingly problematic. It began to have problems charging, sometimes flashing that it was charging when it wasn't, sometimes displaying an Unable to Charge error. I had to buy a new charger and the problem was solved.
The next problem was that the phone would frequently display the message "Insert SIM Card" - when the SIM card was already correctly inserted. The only way to fix this was to remove and reinsert the battery.
Occasionally it would glitch and I would miss a call even if the phone was in my pocket because it would not ring, even though the volume & ringer settings were correct upon checking.
Pros:
-Great for texting, with backlit textured keys and passable word auto-completion
-Small size and flip design great for carrying in pocket or purse
-Passable audio, video and camera quality - after all, it's just a phone.
-Good battery life - lasted for up to 3 days on a single charge with light/average use; about 1 1/2 days with heavy use & texting.
Cons:
-Not enough internal memory and no option for SD memory
-Above mentioned glitches
Considering that it served me just fine for about a year, I would say that it's all that can really be expected of such a device. Not a great phone for "serious" users, but a nifty little casual use phone. Would not buy again, but was OK for the time I used it.

AT&T RAZR (Blue)
Well, the RAZR phone is one of the longest lasting phones, being that it's been five years and it's still being sold.
With that being said, let's get right to the nitty gritty.
Reception: The RAZR gets signal and keeps it, which my other AT&T phones do not do. The call quality and volume is excellent. Again, the reception and signal strength are great on this phone.
Battery Life: Battery life is average. If I don't play with my phone, it lasts, whereas, if I play the games all day long, the battery needs some recharging.
Features: By today's standards the RAZR has decent features, but nothing spectacular. If you want a high-end phone, look elsewhere. For me, this phone is just right.
Durability: because it's so thin, it feels like it won't last. But I keep my phone in a leather case, so it's more durable.
Overall, if you want a phone with GREAT reception and call quality, the RAZR will give you that and then some!
