Qwerty Board Phones

I love the qwerty for texting and I am thinking about getting the LG-9900 but I want to know if I should hold off due to another cool qwerty board phone coming out soon.

I dont want a PDA either. Is there a LG-10000 or whatever the upgrade to the 9900 will be called coming out soon?

Thanks!

Anyone want a HT820 Moto Stereo Bluetooth headset?

I have an extra one, brand new. Make me an offer and it's yours. They aren't going for much on ebay so I'd rather hook someone up here.

Email me if you're interested.

Opinions on a new phone

I have been a Motorola fan for quite a while. I loved my v710 and still use my e815. Now my 815 is beginning to crap out so I am looking for a new phone. My phone is used mostly for texting and just calls. Not much else. The mp3 player of course would be nice to keep but not really a requirement. The thing I liked the most from the 710 and 815 was the signal strength. I was able to use my phones where most other Verizon phones wouldn't work.

I also liked the ability for the phone to learn the words when texting.

What are your suggestions in preferably the $100 area but no more than $150?

I would also like anyones opinion on the KRZR.

NEW CHOCOLATE LG 8550

Posted on Phonearena.com

The Verizon Wireless site is hosting the interactive user guide of the second Chocolate phone for the carrier. Under the model VX8550, it comes as just a basic upgrade of the VX8500, changing the design and just a few features. The black d-pad is replaced with silver one, and its a scroll wheel like in an ipod. Earlier rumors pointed that the second Chocolate will have 3.5mm stereo jack for easier connecting of headphones. From the user manual we can see it uses the Flash interface.

You can preview the Interactive user manual at Verizon Wireless site

iphone killer

ok, if there is really an iphone killer don't you think they would be releasing some info on it any day now...It is not going to do much good if we get no news until after the iphone launches, just seems to make since they leak some more info on whatever device they were going to position against it? I for one could care less about iphone but if they are going to launch the prada variant or something they should probably speak up before the 29th

SO...

It has been over a year since the 8300 came out. The 8100 was replaced 11 months after it came out with the 8300. When will they release a replacement for the vx8300? I really need a new phone!

Pretty cool article

The iPhone Will Flop at First, Then Soar

The iPhone will flop ... and then it will soar. Anyone who doesn't know this isn't paying attention.

Here's how it'll go down (you might want to bookmark this page so you can see just how right I was ... early on).

Apple's iPhone will launch on time, and though interest is enormously high, orders and actual sales will be low.

Apple will be mum on the subject (since I bet it expects this), but analysts, pundits and stockholders will panic (we recently saw how a tiny rumor can set off a virtual stampede).

Our impatient, hyperactive market culture will descend on the struggling product, dissecting the disaster: It was too expensive. Apple shouldn't have gone with just one carrier. Eigh...

Changing Time

Hey - in the past my phone has always auto updated when in different time zones. I now have the 8703e with Vz and I have to go to options/settings and updated my time zone to have it accurately show the current time... what's up with that?

text blocking issue

Whenever I text my brother (also Verizon cust)I get a message saying "You have been blocked from originating messages to this subscriber". Anyone else ever encounter this? It happened in the middle of a texting match so neither of us did anything to bring it on...I don't think. 🙂 Suggestions?

help with verizon data, internet, etc

So I am switching but I have a question

What do you get with data service? Its 45 dollars extra a month and I have no idea what you get with it.

I know for 15 dollars extra a month you get acces to vcast so that you can spend more money on other things right? What exactly do you get on vcast? What does vcast do?

Then for 5 dollars a month you get to use internet (and vcast to?) off of your minutes but then nights and weekends its free?
