Copyright Law

For all those interested, Federal Copyright Law affords proection both ways. The artist is protected from unlawful distribution and is allowed to have distribution at the same time.

Indeed, there does not appear to be any concern over protecting access to the Copyrighted work itself. The purpose of the software lock appears to be limiting the owners use of the mobile handset to support a business model, rather than to protect access to a Copyrighted work itself.

The ability to unilaterally reprogram the firmware may well extend to the ability to universally revamp the permissions system for accessing and using ringtones, samples, games, software, pictures, and video programming".

Hey Mary24

By now, you probably have tried both the LG8600 and the Moto KRZR on Verizon. Which do you like better? You usually have better honest info then all the pitchmen here. Thanks.

Text & Pix Plan

Ok I just added unlimited In Text and Pix to my account with 500 "other".
I understand the In and 500 other when sending to other providers.
If I decide to send myself a pix to my GMAIL account does it just count against the 500 other or is there a better way to manage my pictures?
What's the advantage of my pix place?

LG 8300 - Is it tough?

Looking at the 8300 the hinge looks kinda small and easy to break off the whole top half of the phone. Is this true or is it just appearing that way? Also, when you take a picutre with its camera, can you save it to a memory card and use a card reader to get the pic to the computer? Thanks 😉

what u guys think???????

Hi guys,

I want your opinion on the phones that i am considering to get next week.

I am keeping my eye on LG 8300, 8600 and samsung a930 (as 990 being too costly for me)

I have earlier asked this question on the 8600 forum but didn't get enough replies. This might provide a better platform

the features i m interested in are:

good speaker phone, games (3D), mp3 capabilities, ability to assign custom ringtones (mp3), speaker quality and music quality, reception, durability, comfort and feel.

Please voice ur opinion and let me know.

I am already plannin to leave 8600 out... but still not finalised

thanx in advance.......

phonebook transfer options

I just got the 8600 and want to know the easiest way to transfer my phonebook from the 8500 on it without having to go to a vzw store. I have BITPIM but am not sure if it supports the 8600 yet. Any suggestions are appreciated…

2 Qs: GIN "airtime req'd" and where to find 2 GB MicroSD cheap

OK. Upgraded free to the LG VX8300 last week, like the phone, and just had version 03 software installed at Verizon store so it can now accept a 2 GB card.

I'm wondering if anyone out there knows of a good source for cheap 2 GB cards. I've searched on eBay and the best deals are in the UK or Australia; you lose a lot of the bargain in shipping.

Second, I'm trying to find a game or two to download (don't play them that often but like to keep a few really good puzzle ones, etc. on there). I've been tinkering with free trial of Spin Blocks 360, like it, but the info says "airtime required." Now from what I can gather it would only be required to download new levels.

When you're using airtime, the data transfer graphic appears in the up...

Schlittertex........

I'm still very confused by you. You say how much you hate us, and that you're so glad you left VZW...... You never have anything constructive to say, aside from constantly remarking about your being a "troll" (which you are) and all the same time you say how stupid we all are...but yet you hang around our forums.. Why???? Go troll your new carrier's forums. We did our part to get rid of you, now you do your part to leave.
