LG 8600 vs. KRZR

Hey guys! I'm looking for some really good advise here. I just ordered the LG8600 and am now second guessing my selection. I really like the housing and feel of the KRZR but am serious about my LG's and at this point the only reason why I chose it is because I'm not fond of the I-Tap feature and absolutely love the T9 feature of the LG's.

PDA and IM

I have a customer inquiring about a PDA phone and downloading IM on it. Does that still use texts as per a cell phone, or can it be downloaded as a program only?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Motorola Slver release date?

Hi

Does anyone know when the Slver will be released? Also, do you think this will be a decent model for Verizon--didn't it have problems with the other carriers?

Thanks

9900/enV Testman site

The evV is on the testman site. testman.verizonwireless.com It is $149 with a 2 year plan after $50 rebate. I thought it was going to be alot more than that. When you go to this site, type in 99999 as your zip code.

Mobile Web 2.0 on 8910

A few questions about Mobile Web 2.0 (I have an Audiovox CDM8910)

1. How does the email part work? Does it go to the website or does it work sort of like TXT?

2. Do you need TXT on your plan to use Mobile Web because i took TXT off.

3. Are there any hidden charges more than the $5 per month?

4. Does the 8910 let you go off the "intranet" per say, and view other sites?

New Price Plans???

Being a former VZW employee, I remember a time when VZW used to change their price plans on a fairly regular basis. They didn't necessarily change drastically, but they would change.

Now...correct me if I'm wrong, but it's been over a year and closer to two years since the last price plan changes occurred. Anyone know when VZW might update plans again? It seems like it's time to get a little more current with the plans and text/pix features...

Mobile Web 3.0???? Time is running out

When is VZW releasing Mobile Web 3.0??? It better be soon because Sprint's Mobile Web is UNBELIEVEABLE. So fast. Dont forget that Sprint's mobile web also loads entire pages and doesn't stop loading half way through with an error message. In all seriousness...Sprint's mobile web is as fast as high speed internet and loads entire pages. You can also download straight from the web to your phone. VZW's is so slow and doesnt fully load. It's just embarassing when my Sprint buddies come around.

My problem with VZW - Prove me wrong...

You know the more I think about it, the more ticked off I get that I am a VZW customer. You know why?

Cingular, Tmobile & Sprint - Yes, by comparison their networks do not have nearly the coverage that VZW does...But you know what Cingular, Tmobile and Sprint do not do?

THEY DO NOT CRIPPLE THEIR DAMN PHONES IN THE NAME OF GENERATING MORE REVENUE.

When a new phone is released to Sprint and Verizon with Bluetooth file transfer and DUN capabilities, here's the process from Sprint:

"Cool! This phone can transfer files via bluetooth between a computer and the phone AND it can be the modem for a laptop too! Kick Ass! Our customers will love it!"

Here's the process from Verizon:

"Uh Oh, this phone will transfer files via bluetoot...

RAZR Battery under warranty?

Ok I am not attempting to "get a free battery" in this post. I would like, however an impartial assessment of what I should do.
I have a RAZR and it will be a year old on Christmas. The phone is still under warranty and I have the 5.99 complete coverage plan.

I notice that if I have my phone in the charger and it says "charge complete" and then I take it out and within a half hour send or receive a text message or 2, the battery indicator drops down to less than full bars. Talk on the phone for a half hour an now you are down to half bars.

Is this what I should expect from an 11 month old battery (I have an extended also and that one works just fine so I do not think it is the phone) or should I go back to VZW to ask for a pro-rated...

VX8100 driver?

Does anyone know where I can find a driver for the VX8100? I've found a couple different drivers on line but none of them seem to be working. I know if you buy the USB cable then one comes with that, but I wanted to see if I could just get the driver.

I'm looking to use Bitpim and right now my computer won't recognize my phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 😎
