return within 15 days

I opened a new customer account on 11/20, due to reception not good where I live, I ported my number back out to Cingular. I still got charged $175 ETF. I called CS to ask why, they told me I also have to return the equipment I bought when I opened service. BUT, I cut out the UPC label from the box to send in the rebate. Now they say I have to pay the ETF because the product is non returnable since I cut the box or reactivate the account//sorry

so where is the love people?

for years people have whined about how VZW has disabled OBEX on phones.

have you guys noticed that on the new LG's (vx9900 and vx8600) that Verizon Wireless has ENABLED most OBEX profiles? This is not by mistake, it is intentional. Verizon Wireless doenst want to make a big public announcment about it but expect that future high ends phone will have most OBEX profiles enabled.

Network Area

THIS IS NOT I REPEAT NOT to say who is better. Can anyone tell me were I can find a map of just verizons network coverage? Not theirs and their roaming area (extended network). Just using sprint as an example here. But if you go to their website they show their network then in another color their digital roaming network and in another color their analog roaming coverage!

The real question

If Sprint is such a great company with their WEB, Powervision, Data, why are they doing so bad?

Sprint Vs VZW
Adds 233k vs 1.8mil
Churn 2.4% vs 1.24%

Their port ratio is 12 to 1 with VZW. So 12 Sprint/Nextel Customers come to Verizon for every 1 Verizon Customer that goes to Sprint/Nextel.

So even with Standard UI's, Lack of OBEX, Limited Data 5GB or 10GB (depends on market) Verizon must be doing something right.

The Jim Rome Show

I don't know if any of you guys listen to that show, but he brought an interesting and very valid point. Basically he has a phone with Cingular and a phone with Verizon. He does so because Cingular has the best phones and Verizon the best service. Why can't Verizon just nut up and start making some real quality devices? I wish.

LL unCool Jake, is a Troll... I'd ignore him...

LL unCool Jake:
As a VZW customer I appreciate not to have to read your condescending remarks anytime someone asks a question about a VZW phone, on VZW section of the forum.

It's true that Sprint has little reason to exist anymore, but that gives you no reason, no reason at all to think that you can grab a customer here and there by constantly bashing the other carriers on their related forums.

Move on and stop posting. S

Tired of the Telemarketers...

I am tired of the telemarketers. Everyone should register and file complaints. Probably won't do much good though.

Be Careful when switching from Verizon to anyone else!!

I almost made a very costly mistake. I am planning to switch from Verizon to Cingular as soon as my contract expires (no flames please....I have good reasons). Anyhow, I have been monitoring my Verizon account on line for several months now, and it shows how much time is left before I can use my “New Every Two” and upgrade my phone. I assumed that date was also the end of contract date….WRONG!! I have been anxiously waiting for that date (December 10th) so I can switch to Cingular and get a new phone. A little voice in my head told me I should call Verizon just to be sure. Turns out, that upgrade date is two freakin’ months before the contract expires!! If I would have gone in to a Cingular store and ported my numbers, I would have b...
