I just move here for school from Italy for the next semester.

I need a cellular phone. I see At&t has Go Phone, Pick Your Plans. I like the 400 minute one. But I might need more than that sometimes. Can you explain to me how to get more minutes if I need them.

The paper that I recieved from them says you can add minutes in incriment of 15 dollars or 25 dollars, how much minutes does this get you?

The state of Florida sued AT&T over 3rd party download charges...AND WON! WTF!?! Because people are too stupid to read the fine print on the computer or TV screen, AT&T will have to dish out more than $10 million. How is that fair? On top of that, "Florida's attorney general has flat-out admitted that they went after AT&T only because the actual offenders -- the fly-by-night shops operating the free ringtone schemes -- were too difficult to round up and sue." How the hell is that fair?

It's like if I were to buy a Playstation 3 on eBay and it turned out to be broken. Then, Instead of contacting and / or suing the eBay user I bought it from, I would sue Sony.

According to Engadget, AT&T has given the go ahead for the N95 to be added to the AT&T lineup. AT&T doing something good? I'm speachless. Not really, but it is shocking. It is still just a rumor, but a well founded one. It is said to be the N95-3 and NOT the 8GB version. How much do you think it will cost? The N75 is still $200 and it has no mail-in rebate. I think that the N95 would be $300 or more.

Anyone out there known how the edge connection works on a partnered tower? Some days I will have a connection, other days none or very slow. Can the data be switched off on one tower to increase network bandwidth somewhere else? Also, what is the relation to signal strength vs. download speed, I mean it is a digital transfer right? Wouldn't two bars be just as good as five? Thanks for any info you can share.

I'd like to hear it from those of you out there using this phone. I'm not hearing the greatest reviews on the camera on this phone. Some people can't tell the difference between pictures taken with the k850 and the w810 (that's pretty bad) I like the design of that phone, but I'm having second thoughts. I gave my k790a away (which I miss) if the camera is really that poor, I think I'll just buy another k790a...

Folks, I've been ticked before but not like this. This is to all the customers and all the reps to show you how much love we get from ATT and our dealer.

Since I started here in Aug of '06, I have averaged $1000-$1500 per bonus check. All of the reps in our stores were making about the same. It was a good situation and life was grand. When I got my bonus for Oct. '07 things went bad. I went from making $1000-$1500 to a sub $300 bonus. The reason-Chargebacks. With all the new feature codes and plan changes plus we were stunned to find out that if a customer doesn't pay their bill we get chargebacks! I thought that the Oct. bonus was a one off until Nov., Dec., Jan., and now the worst of the lot our Feb. bonus(Decembers sales. I ...

if you don’t care about the story and just came here looking for the short answer: you can bypass the social security number by using the following number instead: 141-11-1111. this is the number at&t uses internally for cases where they want to permit customers to bypass the ssn field. your phone will be registered but you have two options: either you can pay a security deposit of $90 to $1000 ( since they can’t run a credit check without a ssn) or you can register for a pre-paid plan.

I have sprint right now (contracted) but just hate the service i get in my particular area, never had a problem before I moved.

I was looking at t-mobile because of the flex pay.... But not totally impressed with their coverage either.

There is a way…

….to settle the argument once and for all about which mobile carrier is superior to all. Customers buy a phone and activate service w/o having to commit to a contract (activation fees remain in effect, $20 bucks or so), and then, we all sit back and see what happens.

I agree that in the short run the results would be disastrous for carriers due to lost customers and folks constantly jumping ship. However, in the long run, all carriers, or at least those that want to survive, will have to build a solid reputation on several fronts (customer care, coverage, etc.) and will no longer be able to rely on contracts to provide average service.

A guy on craigslist is selling 8gb iphones for $250. His title read "deal of the day." He somehow has 5 of them. He mentioned getting them from postal something or other. It was late & my mind has been gone the past 2 days. I didn't understand what he was saying.

Anyways, does this sound legit? How can I tell if these are legit/authentic iphones? I'm going to get to test it before I buy it for sure.

Oh yeah, about 20 minutes later his post was flagged for removal. I sent him a text message asking him if he was aware of this & why did he get flagged? He said b/c he was selling them too fast.

So how can I tell if these iphones he's selling are fake?

I am re-newing my contract in a few days and upgrading my phone. What phones do all of you at&t subscribers have and use and what would you recomend? I dont want a smart phone, I text alot and take pictures and travel so I want good signal and good battery. Thanks for any and all help.

does anyone know of a current at&t phone that will alert every few minutes when you have missed a call / text until you stop it?
